Sally was an absolute pleasure to meet, Sally went above and beyond for our stay. We were met with a bottle of bubbles and just married signs, there were rose petals on the bed in the shape of a heart and around the bath. Lots of extra little touches from fresh roses in our room to a lovely selection of bubble baths. Sally made our stay extra special from start to finish. It was our first stop on our minimoon and we wish we had booked more than two nights with the amazing Sally. Her breakfast was fantastic and the eggs were delicious (best scrambled eggs in Yorkshire) Sally welcomed us for breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed, fresh milk from the farm up the road, eggs laid from Sally’s rescue hens and home made jam were just a few treats that welcomed us at the breakfast table. Thank you Sally from the bottom of our hearts for an amazing 2 night stay 😍 We will definitely be back, it was a pleasure to meet you and stay at your beautiful property. Love the new Mr and Mrs Robinson

We liked everything

It was nice to have bed and breakfast, but in a separate annex, rather that a room in the main property. Also the mini fridge was a welcome bonus, because we could have fresh milk, rather than the UHT cartons that are usually provided.

When the sun went down the room was chilly with no way to warm it up.

Fantastic room, spacious with a wonderful bathroom. Real attention to detail, I've never stayed in such a well equipped B&B room. Lots of thoughtful touches, meaning you'd never be without. A brilliant nights sleep was had' sleep in a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was great and kept us going all day. Wonderful and friendly hosts who made us very welcome. It was also nice to be greeted by some friendly chickens too! We're definitely hoping to come back.

Secluded location. Beautiful barn conversion with really comfortable bed and superb bathroom. Top quality full breakfast with farm fresh true free-range eggs. Host couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful.

Our stay was just too short.

Our host Sally could not have done more to make our stay completely perfect,from the welcome when we arrived to the fantastic breakfasts each morning. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully presented and all the little extras provided like soaps, face wash, shower gel etc etc I could go on and on was amazing. The location of the property feels like you are in the middle of nowhere with incredible views but only a few miles from Whitby and many other quaint villages. We are planning our next visit already. I haven't posted any photos as they would only duplicate what is already on the website.

If I had to really try to find something, the pillows were a bit firm for me, but my partner loved them. So just personal choice

Sally is a fabulous host, taking care of your every need with a true personal touch. She genuinely cares for your comfort whilst staying at Folly Hall Farm, and this is shown in the attention to detail in the barn. Everything from the usual tea and coffee, to an array of bubble baths, insect repellent or a toothbrush...its all provided should you need. The place is spotless! Breakfast is wonderful, and as a vegetarian Sally got veggie sausage in for me before we arrived. Her husband and Holly the dog are also very welcoming :D The views are stunning. Just perfect!!

There was nothing we could not like!

We loved everything! The bedroom and bathroom were exceptional, so comfortable and absolutely spotless. The bath and shower were luxurious, and all the extra touches such as fresh flowers and chocolates were lovely. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, especially the homemade marmalade! Sally was the most welcoming hostess and her local knowledge helped make our stay even more enjoyable.
