The room we stayed in we could hear the people above us walking and thus made the floor above creak When we stayed the kitchen wasn’t running a full service due to some broken equipment so we had a very limited menu which would have been nice to have been forewarned in advance so we could have made other arrangements before we arrived this also affect breakfast

The bathroom , although functional, requires a massive upgrade. It is a bit off the beaten track and the roads in/out are in an atrocious state. Televisions also need upgrading. TV reception was more miss than hit.

Evening meal & breakfast were fine. Tucked away down a quiet little lane. Pleasant surroundings. Staff was incredibly friendly& welcoming. Room was clean.

The chef did not appear happy to be serving up our roast dinner on Sunday at 3pm. In fact, if it were not for the welcoming from other staff, my husband and I felt uncomfortable .

The staff were all so kind and welcoming apart from the Chef.

I liked everything. A TV in the bedroom and maybe some type of kitchen facility would have made it 11/10.

Superb location, we stayed in Stable 5 and it was a fantastic location with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Breakfast was cooked on demand. Very fresh and located on the orangery.

The place by itself was great love the ambiance the staff are really friendly and we love the beautiful nature specially the Dog are allowed so nice to see some guest enjoying their stay with the dog such a natural environment it felt like home definitely we will be back with the family vacation.

Facilities and comfort l have marked down as the shower was poor, cracked bath put of using it and room size very small for a king bedroom no seating area just enough room for luggage overnight stay doable but not for any further length of time. Low ceiling with no space to move was claustrophobic with the main road to the adjoining lodges outside the door of the bedroom we were concerned about noise and felt rooms 6-7 should be one room as others in the same stable block, also heard noise from room above thank goodness the occupants were relatively quiet. Felt overpriced on room size.

That our furry friend was not charged additional felt the price was right for bed and breakfast included just disappointed that the pictures on the website did not highlight the rooms disadvantages, roadway directly outside and no space to easily move around the bed walked straight into it from the doorway and edged around the foot to get into any kind of space😕 was expecting more comfort looking a little tired in decor too. Dinner and breakfast were good and the staff we're very friendly great welcome and service throughout. Beautiful setting in the countryside.

I booked it for a special birthday weekend away, on arrival I found out about some technical issues and we needed to move. I was really worried but we have been upgraded, service and the standard exceeded my expectations and we had an amazing weekend! Great standard, super clean, delicious and big breakfasts. Special thanks to Julie from reception, who handled this situation perfectly! Even our puppy had a special treat and gift waiting for her. Lovely place, great people, can't wait to go back!
