Not happy about the parking charge but everything else was perfect.

I felt the price of the room for an overnight was enough to pay and was surprised when asked for £5 parking charge which has been started over the last few weeks.

The staff were very friendly and helpful when my request for a ground floor room wasn’t available and were able to find a one when we arrived. The room was perfect with a patio and table and chairs outside. The breakfast was plentiful and the hotel was on the Main Street in Pitlochry making everything accessible.

The car park isn't really big enough. Some breakfast ingredients weren't of the best quality, particularly the sausages and black pudding.

Excellent location, lovely big room with 2 comfortable chairs and a coffee table. Provision of usb sockets for charging phones and good WiFi.

Just a few of the staff seemed they didn't want to be there.

The hotel itself. Took me back to when I was head chef there. Still the same. Loved it.

The room was a little small, but to be fair I did book a single room, and they usually are small.

Cooked breakfast was good - tasty and hot, as it should be. Dinner in the bar was excellent, with a nice choice and too quality food. Very friendly and efficient waiting staff. The front door is directly on to the main street, and the back door faces the railway station.

Nightmare parking. Got charged for a spot but not told and couldn’t even find one. So had to pay for one a block away as well

Nice and central in town. Rooms ok

I did not see advertised anywhere when booking that parking at the hotel came with a £5 per day charge. This was mentioned at checkin. When checking out the receptionist did not enquire if we had had a nice stay. I was rather taken aback by this and remarked to my husband that I think that is the first time ever this has happened to me and we have stayed in hotels all over the world.

Our room was good - a fine size, with a big, comfortable bed and very clean. Towels were refreshed every day. There was a hairdryer, fan and iron situated inside the wardrobe for guest use. Electric sockets were in good proximity to mirrors. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. The bathroom was modern, good light up mirror above basin. One slight downside was that the shower was in the bath and the side was quite high, it wouldn’t suit everyone. Breakfast was very good. Large room to the side of dining room laid out with buffet. Plenty of choice and replenished often.

The only negative feeback for the hotel is that there were not enough coffee machines in action for the amount of diners at breakfast. There was one - they could have done with three (one was broken).

I was very impressed by the fact that the hotel offered breakfast (with cookedbreakfast option) from 4am. My friends and I were cycling the Etape Caledonia so it was an early start

Parking is difficult if you don't get there early and fines are imposed if you park without registering your car. I arrived at 5pm and found the car park full, also the parking bay bay in front of the Hotel was coned off. I had no where to nearby stop to checkin and quickly take my cases to my room. I had to park about 500 metres away for the first night. The Hotel must ensure there is place for guests to park for a short while to check in when the car park is full. Parking my car on the main road to move cones at the Hotel entrance is dangerous.

Breakfast was excellent and the rooms comfortable

Definitely at price paid better breakfast would be better to have buffet breakfast rather than try to explain order to staff who don't understand

The breakfast was nothing special ordered certain items we never got because the staff seemed to have difficulty understand English or Scottish in our case
