It was a vefy secure parking location. It reduced my worry about the contents of the car some of which was valuable equipment. All in all would return again

Distance from station without a shuttle service a negative. Some communal spaces a bit smelly too. Price could be lower considering there were no staff on hand outside of security.

On top of very secure and comfy rooms, having washing machines for a hiking trip made life much easier (and cleaner). Access to the pool also a big tick

It was all very good. There is catering on-site but it seems this is not available to those only staying at the weekend so you have to go off site to get a meal. Moreton in Marsh is less than a mile away and has plenty of 'eateries'.

This was a room-only deal. The room was clean and very comfortable. The security is excellent. Checking in was easy - the FSC contacted me so that I could do this in advance. The accommodation is similar to a Premier Inn but set in vast grounds. It was very quiet.

Having to be out by 9:00 am. Bit early for Sunday. No breakfast and the nice places in town not open until 10. It's not a big deal, really, just use to a later time.

check out is at 09.00, would have preferred like most places to be 10.00hrs as felt a little rushed. Remember its a fire service college so not going to have any quirky interior design but thats not why we were staying.

great location for our purpose, very clean comfortable room, good value for what we paid in comparison to other local options, plenty of room for parking, felt extremely safe due to the gate security.

It wasn't until after I had booked that I realised that breakfast was not included (I suppose this was my fault but I don't think it was immediately obvious.) I don't have a car so couldn't easily pop into Moreton or somewhere for breakfast. I phoned and spoke to the manager at the college who told me it would depend on whether there were sufficient people on site on the two nights I was there as to whether I would be able to buy breakfast on site. He subsequently confirmed that this would be possible. However, when I arrived for breakfast the chef told me I was not expected and could not have breakfast. However, he kindly agreed after discussion to provide breakfast for me (and I was very grateful that he also provided breakfast after the second night I stayed even though I was the only one having it!). I also had a problem in my room in that it was not possible to switch off the noisy fan in the bathroom and I was expecting therefore to have a night with little sleep. It was not obvious who to speak to about this since reception had closed. I tried phoning from the phone in the communal area but couldn't get hold of anyone. I would have walked to the security staff on the gate but by chance I was then able to speak to one of the other guests who advised me to find and turn off the isolation switch which worked. I reported this problem when I checked out so that staff were aware it needed to be sorted.

When I was able to speak to them, all staff I spoke to were very helpful. It is an interesting place. The room was comfortable.

the place was absolutely deserted during our stay, which made it very very eerie; very high security getting in and out, presumably because there's lots of fancy fire fighting machinery in the grounds?

Bathroom is not the best looking but it was clean.

Perfect location to explore the Cotswolds without breaking the bank. Very friendly staff, quiet and clean. No fuss, just what you need for a short stay. We were there for the Air Tattoo and for two nights, this place is perfect.

Fabulous location for sightseeing and visiting places Spaciousness of the site, swimming and a big gym available too. Parking easy and on site. Did not eat at the residence. Will definitely stay again.
