How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The food choice in the bar is poor- and we were too tired to walk the 30 minutes back into Greenwich to go to a restaurant. So if you stay here eat out before you get to the hotel. This was a last minute booking for the London Marathon and it was a little further out of central Greenwich than I would have liked but it was all I could find.
The room was really good, it was clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on in a hotel. The staff were really helpful, polite and efficient.

The price for 1 night was the only real negative, I don't feel the room was value for the money paid. The lifts didn't work for me, had to use the stairs which wasn't an issue for me however I can see it being a problem for someone with mobility issues
Very comfortable beds, clean room and the smart TV was a nice addition. The lady who saw me at the counter was very polite and welcoming.

The hotel is a short walk to the O2 Rooms are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Lots of choice no matter what you prefer. Not having to brave the packed tube train home after a fabulous night = priceless. I will be back.

Breakfast serving area needs to be bigger. Bathroom was quite small. Hotel decor needs to be brighter.

The queues for breakfast!
About 12-15 minutes walk from the O2 and the Jubilee line underground station, I like walking so it was convenient! The hotel is basic, clean with comfortable beds! It is a decent 3 start hotel!

Arrived at 17:22 - Paid for 24hrs car parking and checked the email at 6am seeing time we had and said it expired at 00:15 - paid extra to cover as worried I would get a ticket - front of house wasn’t much help on check in as I was having issues paying ended up paying £33 parking!!

Bit frustrating turn on the tv it says "smart tv" connect your phone, doesnt work, go downstairs to be told its not a smart tv and dont have that function? Confusing... also, when arrived there was a glass on the table full of water, we thought the room wasnt cleaned/glass was missed, no big deal, then later as the aircon was on and it drips water everywhere onto the table, im guessing hence the glass earlier!
Breakfast-good, beds comfy and location great, food great, staff great!

For the cooked breakfast I feel there could have been more choice and also we had to wait for more plates and more food to be cooked as they ran out!
Perfect location for O2 arena shows!! Love the fact its just a 20 minute walk to the O2 so no need to hop on the underground which I hate. Nice size rooms with everything you need.

The only thing to eat for breakfast if you’re veggie or vegan is toast & baked beans. You have to find a member of staff and ASK for veggie sausages which they then being to you 5 mins later. There were NO vegetables in sight, not even fresh tomato or mushrooms. Nothing. This is 2024 - loads of people are vegan and It’s not healthy to just serve sausages and bacon. Very disappointing, unhealthy, short-sighted and behind the times. This would put me off staying in another Holiday Inn. Even Travelodge have better breakfast options. A shame, because all the staff were absolutely lovely.
Good location for the 02, nice simple clean room with kettle and teas & coffee. Easy, quick check-in. Lovely, friendly staff.

As I’ve worked in hospitality, where ever I stay I always strip the beds as I now this helps with your turnaround. Very disappointed that out of 6 pillows only 2 had protectors on. The sofa bed was very badly stained and also under the sofa didn’t look like it’s been cleaned for a while. Also the mattress cover on the main bed was also stained.

Just a little gripe only one coffee machine working and no black coffee working on it and the sausages weren’t nice, had much better on previous stays with you.
Good stay again, lovely friendly staff and great comfy bed.
