How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I think the rooms could be updated decoratively. Not a big issue.
Located conveniently close to airport (within walking distance). Extremely comfortable bed and pillows enabled a much needed night's rest. Dinner and bar options within hotel provided the luxury of not having to go out after a long day of travel. Continental breakfast was all we needed to get a good start to our day.

This is at the airport so I was able to walk there. The rooms are small but comfortable. the breakfast is great. There is plenty of space for folks to gather, and the bar is excellent. The food is good too.

There was no negative points.

Menu in bar. Didn’t give much choice and what we did order was very disappointing
Location and comfort of the hotel as we had a real early morning flight. All staff we met were very nice and helpful

Very convenient after a long flight, both for walking to hotel from terminal and picking up rental car next morning. Rooms are small but comfortable, including the bed. We ate in the bar and it was good. Tried the regular Holiday Inn for our return trip and this was hands down a better hotel.

too expensive for a one night stay, should be around the £80-£90 mark. Food selection was average and not much variety. Staff were quite miserable when checking in but the evening staff were much friendlier. nightmare for taxis to pick you up due to barriers etc.
great location, great wifi, rooms a decent size and very clean. less than a minute walk from the airport so really convenient, cant hear any noises from the airport which is another positive for the hotel.

Lack of a luggage trolly and the parking. The parking was the biggest issue for me. I paid the £10 extra which was fine but we stayed there twice on the same trip. 1st time upon our exit the gate opened automatically upon exit. 2 weeks later upon exit it would not. Luckily no one was behind us and we were able to back up. I went inside to inquire and was told I needed a voucher to exit and I ONLY had 10 minutes to exit! I responded saying 2 weeks prior i just drove out w/o issues and was "then" told they had changed their system. 1st of all they should be asking if you had a car when you check out to give you a voucher. And 10 minutes is NOT long enough to haul your luggage (w/o a cart) to your car.. load it all in.. (you might need a few minutes to program your GPS before you drive out as a tourist). The hotel itself was fine but they need to fix this issue.

I missed having a towel warmer in the bathroom.
Loaction to the airport was great. The room was a good size and confortable. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Easy checkin and checkout.

We stayed here the night before leaving Glasgow back to the USA. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the terminal. We had an early flight and they had a nice continental breakfast for early travelers.

Room was a little on the warm side on arrival.
Early breakfast option. Comfortable bar/cafe with windows near front entrance. Comfortable room with vg bed linens etc. Bright, adjustable reading light next to bed. Windows opened for fresh air.

Wine a little pricey for quality. Very noisy children rampaging across floors after 11pm. Entirely not hotel's fault. Just inconsiderate parents when we had very early flight. Otherwise very impressed and would visit again.
The room was really well laid out. Max use of the space. Decor fresh and clean. Staff very helpful and accommodating.
