The extractor fan in the bathroom was not working. The package for the shower hat was empty.

I was surprised to see the one usual option of Smashed avocado on sourdough bread was not available

The breakfast menu was very extensive, with both continental and traditional options available. The staff were attentive and pleasant.

The spa was one of the nicest we have experienced however there are touches that need to be made such as the door frame of the white door (outdoor pool area) where the metal has rusted between the tiles and paint. And the doors that have misshapen by the lower floor twilight pool and for all the rooms to be working as two were out of order. All these are such small, easy to fix adjustments and did not impact on our personal experience. I am incredibly particular and these would elevate your customers experience from superb to exceptional.

The hotel was beautiful, the room we stayed in was stunning, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.the staff were all friendly and professional.

Can’t use lockers in the spa if you have stayed in the hotel very bizarre so no where to put your belongings that are locked away and easy accessible when you have checked out of the hotel just odd little things like that

A beautiful building, a good sized room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice on the menu, I particularly liked that local produce was used. The staff were very attentive and on arrival we had a very kind gesture of a card and bottle of chilled Prosecco waiting for us in our room as our stay was to celebrate a birthday and anniversary, a really nice thought, we will definitely go back again!!

Parking wasn’t very good, not enough parking spaces, it’s very hit and miss, we had to park in a nearby street and then eventually move it closer to the hotel.

Staff were lovely and helpful, spa was amazing and the breakfast staff were lovely when serving your breakfast, loved the room and added a little car and wine to the room as it was our anniversary.

nice breakfast but portions of the full English were a bit small. the one sausage was not very good, but it may have been the regional preference!

Gorgeous spacious room with period features. Spa was amazing. Breakfast included and was an amazing selection of foods.

Loved the style of the building . Interesting to stay in a crescent shaped building in the Regency style.

Parking in Buxton can be confusing. But we managed to find a space close by and there is bag drop.off outside the hotel.

The hotel.is fresh and welcoming. The team are friendly and the whole place is calm . The thermal spa is a real treat. The breakfast was fabulous. The room comfy and well resourced.
