The staff were not only friendly but also flexible, accommodating all our needs with a smile. The instructors were top-notch, providing excellent guidance and making the learning experience enjoyable. The rental gear was in good condition. Plus, the room was clean and comfortable, offering a perfect retreat after a day of surfing.

Timothy and the team were so friendly - sorted out us hire surf boards, lovely bedrooms and a great spread for breakfast! Perfect place for a family with 2 adults and 2 20 something boys as they could come and go surfing/ into town as they pleased and in the evening we chilled out playing pool and board games in the common room all together. Great value stay in excellent location.

Friendly staff who are very helpful. Decent and clean room for the price. Surf hire (wetsuit and board) is cheap and loads of space to dry stuff on site for residents. Closed to Fistral beach and town centre. Breakfast included was basic but very handy. The Thai takeaway food van on site was amazing!

Quite old, the beds were really creaky and you can’t see the tv from bottom bunk, no plug except one for the kettle.

Me n my siblings loved your game room was one of the high lights to our trips, wish I got the guys name who was at front desk as he was lovely very welcoming. You could see the sea from your room and it was a easy walk. Breakfast was included that was a lovely surprise and you can get a free wet suit! Perfect for people who love water sports.

Staff were amazing, great location tor fistral beach. Free wetsuit for my stay was great. The staff were really helpful and even have a dog. Bed was very comfortable.

For what we wanted it was great.

Genuinely friendly and helpful people working there. Lots of advice and it was easy to hire boards. The room was as expected and quiet. I accidentally flooded the shower and they were not annoyed at all. Brilliant location for Fistral beach and town.

The staff were very helpful throughout our stay at the lodge and provided usefull recommendations for the area. We really enjoyed the discount on boards and the free wetsuits. The room was basic but the value for money was very good. The free breakfast was a very nice surprise as we weren't expecting it.

It was inspiring the interaction between the children that attended the surf lodge and the young men looking after them,they were well cared for and pleased to see them applying sun screen to each child daily.So close to beach and town centre with supermarket and laundromat very close as was train station.Highly recommend.

Would be useful to have women's sanitary bins in the communal bathrooms as well. The bedrooms could do with a clothes rail/some sort of storage to hang wet towels etc.

The location was perfect for the town and the beach. The breakfast included was really useful. The wetsuit and board hire was really affordable and staff were very helpful with wetsuit sizes. The beds were really comfortable. Staff were very accommodating.

Friendly and helpful staff. Helped with providing free / cheap equipment for body boarding and advising about local restaurants etc. Good location for beach, harbour and shops/restaurants. Free pool table. Free breakfast was basic but unexpected.

Free wetsuit hire and surf boards are only £7.50 a day to rent to all guests. Fistral beach is easily accessible and a short 5 minute walk takes you right into the centre of Newquay. All staff are super friendly and are keen to help you with anything you need.

We knew the room option we selected was with a shared bathroom, but we didn't know it was two flights down. Just a little bit of a long way for my Mam (late 60's) during the night. I think adding it into the room details would be helpful for guests 😊

We LOVED the location!! Literally 100m from the town and beach , with a massive supermarket on the doorstep! An absolute gem of a place! Free breakfast every morning and free wetsuit hire plus an activity center attached to the lodge. The staff were so accommodating, friendly and welcoming. They took the time to speak to each and every guest , and always stopped to have a chat asking how we slept, what the plans for the day were and making recommendations for some fab dinner spots! I feel like the staff set the friendly tone for the guests, as everyone was so friendly and chatting over breakfast and in the common room through the day! Keep up the fab work guys , wishing you the best for the future!
