The staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good. It was immaculately clean.

A brilliant, quirky hotel, that you will love, but try one of Poole's other restaurants for dinner.

I liked it all, the only downsides I could see were: 1. The parking was a bit limited, I ended up parking some way away from the hotel although in the daylight, it was dark when I arrived there is a public car park next to the hotel on Quayside Poole Car Park. 2. The hotel is in a charming and quaint building. Its worth staying there just for the amazing mural that faces you when you walk in the entrance, however the rooms are upstairs and round corners. If you have mobility issues check first and make it clear on your booking that you have them. 3. The food was a bit average, considering the hotel is an amazing boutique hotel the portions were a bit small and do not live up to the stunning nature of the rest of the hotel. I would eat out if I stayed again.

The room was exceptional, extremely comfortable, I slept like a log in the very comfy bed. The bed itself was huge and the mattress like a dream. The bathroom was amazing, bright, huge and ideal for a weekend away with your loved one. The staff were really really good, helpful, attentive. My room was a little hard to find, see below and the receptionist led me to the room so that I didn't get lost. The team in the restaurant were really friendly and made the restaurant worth visiting.

The fire door left open outside our room kept us awake with banging.

Dinner was exceptional with plenty of variety and good portions. Thanks to reception for organising the request for a room with a walk-in shower. It was somewhat surprising that the bathroom was a full wet room.

The lighting in the room was a little dark - could have done with more over mirrors or even a light around the mirror.

No ventilation in room, we were given a ground floor room, which was an adapted room at the rear of the hotel, we didn’t need this style of room, we booked a standard double, the room had no windows, only the entrance door and the air conditioning was not not functioning so it was most uncomfortable sleeping without any ventilation. The room also had a wet room, clearly meant for someone with mobility issues, which we don’t have, so again disappointed not to have a regular bathroom.

Food quality and service was outstanding

The bar & restaurant is lovely but its pricey and the food is ok but no more than a good pub

A beautiful old building in the centre of the old town near the quay The public rooms are full of character well furnished and very cosy a deluxe room is extremely spacious, very quiet, very clean and ours had two huge windows overlooking the front, I really don't think you need a suite

Really, there was nothing not to like.

Parking: we were lucky enough to get one of the 10 hotel spaces, then never moved the car till we left! Room: we were "sold" a room upgrade at check-in, and it cost less than when previously offered. Glad we took the upgrade as the room was superb. Staff: were all very courteous and helpful. Check-in and Check-out were probably the best I have experienced anywhere. Location: ideally placed for access to the Quay and other facilities in the town (pubs/bars/restaurants/ferries)

Nice hotel friendly staff. But no parking and if you can find it, it will cost you £12-£13 per day.

Parking was first come first served and there were only a few parking slots on the hotel site and they charged £12 per night. This was not disclosed until I had paid for the room. The other parking was a short walk away and cost £13 per night. The evening meal first night was very average and wine was the most expensive on the Quay. Same height price for breakfast which was help yourself if you chose continental style. For the remaining two days and nights we ate breakfast and evening meals on the quay. Better priced and better ambiance.

Staff were very helpful and tentative to our needs. Restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was very handy. The room was individually named, was spacious and very comfortable.

Parking was in a public car park off-site - but not too far from the hotel. This was not unexpected for an older building in an historic part of Poole. The restaurant was a bit hit-and-miss and the onion soup was especially dreadful. However, again, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent harbour-side location. Superb staff and generally good facilities.
