The room was fabulous, high ceiling, bath and washbasin in a recessed area, with an ensuite shower room as well, beautifully presented. Hotel du Vin's usual excellent bed, breakfast etc. Superb!

Only the tiniest thing, but we found the beds ever so slightly uncomfortable. Everything else was perfect.

We had the most amazing time for our wedding anniversary at Hotel du Vin. The staff went above and beyond to make the stay memorable with complimentary cocktails and sparkling wine. We also received a room upgrade to a suite which had a freestanding bath which felt very luxurious!

This is just nit picking really, but the chocolates used to be replaced each day, now you only get them on your arrival day. I miss the chocolates.

We stayed here for one night, on the spur of the moment. We were given the 'Villa Maria' room, a gorgeous room with a walk-in shower, and a beautiful roll top bath. Everything we needed was there - coffee (Taylors & Nespresso) and tea (Yorkshire) We just wanted to spend the day soaking in Christmas in the city, and then have a relaxing night. Parking was easy, and the staff accommodated us arriving earlier. We booked a table for 8.30 in the Bistro, as the menu's French influence was tempting! We opted for the 'Taste Du Vin' menu, a carefully curated five course menu with sommelier-chosen wines for each course. This is where we had the absolute pleasure to meet and engage with Shaun, who expertly steered us through the wine choices, the reasoning behind those choices and the crafted menu. It was three hours of beautiful food, quality conversation and learning about what was before us. We left the table at the end of the night feeling thrilled at what we had experienced, with a list of food choices and wines we wanted to experience again. We had the best time here - so much so, that my now fiancé popped the question in the bar, and again the staff really rose to the occasion! We will be back, as it was such a delight. Thank you so much Shaun for your knowledge and hospitality, thanks too to all of the staff.
