It was a shame that there was a big screen tv and it wasn't tuned, so I couldn't watch it. The bed lights are quite dim and it got a bit cold during the night.

The room was clean and very spacious. The bathroom had a spacious shower, plenty of soaps and towels.

Although the interior is comfortable and inviting, the exterior of the property is grim! More akin to a derelict building, but could be improved radically with a lick of paint and some render. Very quiet location except for aircraft noise. Immediately below flight path close to Glasgow airport, with flights starting at 6am.

Breakfasts not provided. Convenient on street parking. Car essential to access places to eat and poor public transport availability.

Check out time is a little early, another hour would be ideal. The entrance is a bit tired looking as is the entrance hallway. The facility dearly misses the bar that used to be on site too.

Great location and a very comfortable and quiet room looking out at the rear of the property. Check in was quick and easy too.

One key opens both outside doors as well as bedroom. So I take it that every room has the same key to get in and out which probably means I could use mine on any room.

The price has hiked massively since my last stay 2 years ago. The building looks quite run down, but our room was lovely. Proprietors hadn't checked our booking properly, so we had an early morning knock the day before we were due to leave saying we had to go.

Location for me is perfect as close to family. I've stayed before, so knew what to expect, but my partner thought it was closed down due to its appearance. Our room was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The proprietors were warm and welcoming.

Location was the only thing, was a little out from the centre, so racked up quite a large taxi bill by the end of our stay.

Got what we paid for! Room was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Only one pillow on the bed?!! Check-out time 10am?!! This is much too early to be civilised these days!! Most hotels are more guest-friendly 11am-12pm checkouts for guests who may have stayed out a little too late the night before - get with the times, rather than trying to charge £10 extra for an extra hour in bed?!! The building external and entrance reception area is run-down and tired looking, though it's undergoing refurbishment at the moment in fairness.

There was no mirror in the room to allow you to see when drying your hair straightening your hair and no socket close to the bathroom where the mirror was. There were 2 people and there was only 1 bath towel and a hand towel left in the bedroom.

I could hear nearby traffic from my room and also what sounded like the occasional train. The exterior of the hotel was not very welcoming - though the room was far better than the outside let on
