The room expectation was messed up by Booking.com but Jo is trying to put this right. The room was adequate and clean but the mattress felt a bit tired.

The breakfast was a highlight and the location excellent. Jo and Daryl were excellent hosts and we could not fault the cleanliness.

Very open, friendly and flexible B&B owners with high care for their facility, service quality and customers. Very clean and neat B&B which I surely will visit more often in the future.

Only downside was the electric shower, hot but they are not the most powerful.

Second time staying and room was just as comfortable. Lovely shower and good supply of hot chocolate and biscuits, as well as a lovely breakfast every morning. Jo and Daryl are good hosts and make sure everything is comfortable. Excellent location for some lovely spots in the forest of Dean!

There is nothing to dislike.

Each time I have stayed at Deanfield I have been greeted by Jo who is friendly and very welcoming. The house and my room were exceptionally clean. The room was well stocked with tea and coffee etc. The bed large and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and well stocked with fresh towels and toiletries. The breakfast menu had plenty of choice and was cooked to a very high standard. The free on site parking was a great bonus.

The room could have been a tad warmer. I'm not sure the radiator was quite big enough for the spacious room. It was a chilly weekend and it would be fine in milder weather. Overall it wasn't an issue at all and have learned it's a good idea to carry a hot water bottle in my luggage at this time of year.

Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious. Proprietor was friendly and helpful. Perfect location for the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas. Good parking

Breakfast :- what a great selection from juice, tea coffee, cereal and then of course the full english beautiful the on suite room was delightful clean an spacious

Car park could be tricky if fully booked.

We were visiting family in the village so ideal location. Once we had checked in with Jo we could come and go as we needed which was great. Ground floor bedroom was lovely. Great bathroom! Jo lovely - attentive and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

We could not think of any way Deanfield could be improved

Nothing I didn’t like but my personal preference is a power shower but the shower in our room was ok.

Everything was amazing!

Everything was perfect. The location is ideal for exploring the area and in very close proximity to the local pubs (The Woodman next door is a lovely pub with delicious food). Our cooked breakfast was delicious and Jo is such a friendly and helpful host. We'd definitely go back again!

Information folder in room would be beneficial. Mobile phone signal poor, TV wasn’t fully programmed, we did manage to watch catch up, but appreciate we didn’t ask host about this, may have been easily resolved!

Lovely property, private parking, nicely decorated, great host. Great place to explore the Forest of Dean with plenty of walks nearby along with pretty towns.

A great location for exploring the Forest of Dean and a B and B well worth visiting. We enjoyed our short stay and were more than satisfied with both our room and our breakfasts. The pub two doors down was ideal.

Top rated room, very comfortable, with excellent beverage provision, including biscuits which were replenished on the second day, something I wouldn't usually see. The whole house had a 'just decorated' feel, clean & fresh. The owners were so helpful & I enjoyed a lovely restful stay in a peaceful location. There is a pub next door & one a few minutes walk away, both serving food. I highly recommend this gem of a B&B.

There wasn't anything we disliked.

The reception...polite and friendly. The cleanliness...the decor...the toiletries etc. that were free with the room. Breakfast was excellent

That we only had 3 nights and not more!

A perfect little find on the edge of the cycle trails. Extremely clean and comfy with a breakfast to die for. See you soon for sure!x
