Nothing to dislike, but a bread knife would be useful when providing a fresh loaf of bread in breakfast hamper :). And maybe some foam over the large beam under the bunk bed our children (who are complete whirlwinds) bumped their heads several times despite constant reminders to go careful!!

Loved the whole experience, space in the cabin is well utilised and laid out to maximise living space and everything you could need provided. Kids LOVED the lower bunks/den. Adults loved the addition of board games and sun loungers outside for a spot of stargazing. The outside shower added a layer of novelty to our stay. Peaceful location, with plenty to do in surrounding areas. Host was super welcoming and friendly.

There whole stay was amazing and would recommend to anyone. Only addition we could think of is maybe some wheel barrows or similar to help get at our stuff to the hut :)

The whole experience was great from start to finish. We were made to feel right at home and the our little boys didn’t want to come home! The hamper was a fantastic addition along with the fairy door hunt.

The cabin was v well equipped, comfy beds, great shower, everything we needed. Location was outstanding, great for exploring Dartmoor but it's the free range alpacas that steal the show. Sitting on the decking watching them do their thing is so relaxing , you can buy animal feed for them, they are v friendly . They also have chickens, sheep, guinea pigs and pigs (you can feed them too) Josh and Natalie were great hosts , we purchased a food hamper with the best bacon, sausages, eggs (from their animals) and home-made marmalade . Excellent instructions for checking in too, i cannot recommend this place highly enough. We can't wait to return.

Granddaughter loved the ‘den’, the children’s bed area, under the adult’s - Granny not so keen when it came to bedtime stories! Understandably you can’t take the car into the field so everything has to be carried in. On arrival, Josh was there to help, but I would have appreciated having access to a wheelbarrow or some such, especially when departing. With young children, felt 4.00 pm is quite a late check in, and 10.00 checkout is early, especially if there for only a couple of nights as we were.

Lovely sharing the field with the alpacas. All very peaceful and secure so children can go off on their own to explore and find the chickens and play area. Thoughtfully equipped. Recommend the well marked circular ‘Ant Trail’ through nature reserves at the end of the lane (also route to the pub and the children’s playground at Chudleigh Knighton). A short drive to Stover Cycle Path - to Bovey Tracey Swimming Pool or to Newton Abbot. Many thanks Josh.

Our children aged 5 and 2 had a memorable time at this well run alpaca farm. They loved being right amongst the animals and became very attached to them - particularly Jen the hen! We barely drove more than 15 mins yet had a lovely time clambering around Becky Falls, visiting the informative House of Marble and we even booked a swim at the nearby Finlake holiday resort. It was so easy to find off just off the Devon Expressway and the kids are already asking us when we will next be staying!

It's such a magical place! Josh was so friendly and accommodating - even moving animal feeding times around so that the kids could help out. The animals roamed free around the cabins - we had a hen in our kitchen, and a bunny outside in the evening, that was happy to be stroked and played with. The site felt really peaceful and safe, with plenty of space to play, and the warm outside shower is a lovely treat - especially in the middle of the night when all the stars are out. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

    nothing, everything was brilliant

the quality of the accommodation was fantastic, the bed was really comfortable, having an inside toilet was a bonus and the outside shower was an exciting experience. We absolutely loved our stay, the location is great and seeing the Alpaca's wandering around great to see. The hosts were so helpful and nothing was to much trouble (including getting fresh eggs in the morning from the chickens also on-site). Our 5 year old also enjoyed playing in the open field with the children from the chalet next door!

There was only one problem for us my teenage daughter was too big for the single beds in the Hen House. Next time we will try and book the Double Decker Bus. Also the Hen House is next to the children’s outdoor kitchen and swing so we were woken early one morning by other children. It’s perfect though if you’ve got little children, they can literally wake and go straight out to play. It felt very safe and secluded.

The huts have everything you need, no need to pack sleeping bags and towels. We had our own toilet and shower hut. Absolutely magical to wake up with Alpacas grazing around the hut. Picture windows in the hut look out over the farm. Our hut had a deck to sit out on which was also covered so the weather is no problem. We rented a fire pit and had toasted marshmallows and s’mores each night. Thoughtfully created and furnished. There are also pigs, ducks, chickens, Guinea pigs and the odd rabbit around the farm, perfect get away from it all.
