Excellent food, incredibly friendly and warm hosts. Everything was spotless, the bathroom was spacious and the water pressure divine. The hosts had an excellent attention to detail and care. We also got a locally made wool blanket and socks from the shop on the property. Those are now my all time favorite socks thanks to the beautifully soft and fluffy wool.

Lovely spacious and comfortable B and B in an idyllic setting. Friendly and helpful hosts who provide a fab breakfast. Bonus on site is their shop of wool and particularly Herdwick products.

CrookaBeck is in such a beautiful location, tucked away in the heart of the Lake District. Not only is the location beautiful but the property is also beautifully kept and decorated. The hosts were extremely accommodating and took every step to ensure my fiancé had the best birthday getaway possible.

It was quite expensive for an out of season B&B and the shower lacked a bit of pressure. Having said that, it was still a fabulous stay.

Firstly, the breakfast was superb! The welcome from Julia and Adam made us feel completely at home. Our room was a self contained apartment with separate living area and a private terrace overlooking the hills. If you enjoy the more peaceful parts of The Lake District, like we do, it is the perfect location.

Our second visit to Crookabeck B&B and we loved it just as much as the first time! A gorgeous little B&B right in the middle of a farm surrounded by the beautiful fells. It is lovely and peaceful! The bedroom, bathroom and living area are super clean, comfortable and stylish we just love it! Adam and Julia are fantastic hosts and the breakfast is delicious! We will definitely be back and recommend it to others!

Definitely, the best b & b we have stayed in - spotlessly clean, comfy rooms and private lounge. The homemade lemon drizzle cake was a lovely touch. The evening supper boards were packed full of yummy charcuterie, and the cooked breakfast was perfect. The food here is of a very high standard. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Julia and Adam were very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. A real gem of a find!

A lovely place with great hosts. The room was very spacious and had a lot of light, everything was clean. A lot of nature and walks around the B&B, an amazing view from the terrace. Also, we were absolutely stuffed after the breakfast, it was very good. I can definitely recommend this place

Loved this gem of a b&b. Captured the essence of the beautiful Lake Districts. Hosts were so welcoming, went the extra mile to book us a place for dinner nearby and the home made cake was out of this world. Exceptional quality through and through. Highly recommended.

he place is really beautiful and quiet. Perfect location if you want to do some hiking, as it is right on the coast to coast path and you can do several hikes from there. Also, it’s only a 30 minute walk away from Glenridding. The hosts are super attentive and very nice, we booked for one night but ended up staying two because it was such a wonderful experience 😊 The breakfast and homemade cakes were delicious too

There was nothing to find fault with - the rooms, the welcome and the cooking and location of the B&B were all brilliant!

Breakfast for vegetarians can be mixed - but this one was great with varieties of hot / cooked platters with fruit, museli and yoghurt. Wonderful coffee & toast as well - a great breakfast!

Adam & Julia were amazing hosts .The property is excellent. The bedroom was spacious yet very cosy. The bedroom is well appointed, clean, warm and super comfortable with all amenities you would expect in a premium B&B. The guest lounge / breakfast room is also very cosy and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and very well prepared. There was a superb selection of premium cereal, fresh fruits, milk and juices. The cooked breakfast was equally delicious with each of the breakfast items carefully cooked to a high standard. The Crookabeck B&B is an amazing place and I can’t recommend it enough.
