No bar no restaurant every time we went out we had to hand the key to reception our room wasn't cleaned while we where there bins wasn't emptied no water provided for the kettle had to go and buy some bottled water

Location close to seafront being on ground floor swimming pool was quite not full with children bed was comfortable the night security was friendly and helpful .

The steam room and the sauna wasn’t working would have been better if there was some sort off bar even if it was just alcohol free drinks being served and hot food being served

The sauna nit working or the steam room nit working properly and had to run shower for ages to hear up but all in all a very good stay

The fact I got told the facilities where open where as on booking.com they said wasn't available the receptionist Anna was very helpful 5* to her enjoyed my stay and will book again in the future and have recommend to my famiky for weekend away the price was good aswell for a budget double room for the night close to city center and attractions

The shower enclosure was a bit grim but we told the cleaning staff and the reception staff. It was a bit better after.

The pool was lovely. We had stayed for a couple of nights then booked an additional night while we were here. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise. The front desk staff were very helpful.

Overall room was OK some of fittings in bathroom were a little well used. Extractor fan for the bathroom was total clog up !! Housekeeping would have really hard job to clean as it was so high in ceiling . Maintenance job

The hotel is in the middle of a major refurbishment, which it badly needs. There is a large room that at one time would have been their entrainment room. This would be nice to see it fully restored. The room I had overlooked an untidy garden with broken furniture outside this need cleaning up and making into a nice little seating are.

The hotel, in general, is very good. The swimming pool is a very nice feature and was warm. I managed to get a parking spot most nights, but the car was safe on the road just outside. It was nice walk into Torquay itself it took me about 10 minutes. The staff where very friendly and helpful.

The staff were on the quiet side. The computer system said we weren't in the room on checkout day, this resulting before our checkout, which was 11:00am. At 8:30am, I just woke up and heard a knock on door, went to check, and before I even got a chance to respond and get dressed, someone had unlocked the door and started walking in. She did quickly shut the door, but we did have door locked and the do not disturb sign on door. We did then decide to pack up and go earlier than checkout time.

The room was nice size, quiet area. The pool facilities and games room were a good extra. Simple breakfast is a bonus. Good location.

It was a lovely room and the staff were lovely, new management had taken over so a few problems in pool, stream room and sauna with cleanliness and smell. It’s was still an amazing stay the kids loved games room and snacks at reception 🤩

Smell of cigarettes in the room. We were above the patio which had signs to say smoking area was round the side, but the ashtrays on the patio were full. Leisure facilities not working. We were told on arrival the swimming pool needed to be refilled and wasn’t operational that evening. It still wasn’t open on the Saturday. One of our reasons for choosing this hotel was for the leisure facilities. Advertised as toiletries provided but we only had 2 small bottles of shampoo, no shower gel or conditioner and robes provided, a nice touch but only one had a belt.

Lovely spacious room. We were in the Torbay suite. Comfortable bed. Good location. Free parking . Good value for money.

Unfortunately, upon arrival we were told our room was ready when we went up to the room it actually wasn't ready. There were holes in the curtains.. Also could probably do with a lick of paint.

Could not get internet which became really difficult as we were reliant on this for booking activities and future accommodation . When I talked to the staff they said they were having some problems which didn't help us at all.

The ceilings are high and the lighting was not adequate for reading, needs a side light of some kind. The building obviously needs updating. The furniture needed a bit more thought. A little table and chair for my laptop would have been nice. Also some more hooks for clothes hanging.

This hotel exceeded my expectation. It was spotlessly clean throughout. Every staff member I encountered was polite and very helpful. I did not expect any breakfast but there was self service cereals toast, fruit, yohurt, tea etc. Great lounge, good feel about the place. The pool is fabulous and also the hot tub, sauna. Great facilities for the price and free parking. I had a room which was described as 'very small', it was small but by no means very small.
