The room we stayed in was dated and needs some sprucing up. The toilet does not flush well either.

All the doors slam so every time someone left their room i would get woken up by the door slamming, the window in our room was broken and held closed with 1 screw in 1 hinge so we could hear every conversation again waking us up, we were told by reception that he had booked us a taxi for our dinner reservation and then when the taxi was due called the room to say he hadn't booked it, we couldn't get a taxi quick enough so had to drive down and the sauna was out of order for the entire stay. The windows surrounding the pool were filthy so you couldn't enjoy the view either. The milk and sugar weren't topped up in our room either only clean mugs. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were either really hard or had no filling in them. They also did a pump clean early evening so the beer was unavailable because management had told them to do a pipe clean midway through the evening.

The hotel is in a very pretty location, The food was delicious and the restaurant/bar staff were lovely. There was plenty of parking and always beds available at the side of the pool. I also had a facial in the spa and it was lovely. The location is lovely, Cricklade is very cute and the surrounding villages were lovely to visit.

When we got seated for our main eve meal wasn't dealt with within 15mins when others walked in after us were given a menu and drinks ..this was seen and dealt with a manager who couldn't apologies enough and offered us a free drink for the error of staff .also we had burger and fries for dinner half way through the chef brought out a few vegetables on the plate but then we were charged £5 we didn't ask for these and a burger meal really who has vegetables with that .

The courtyard room was very poor accommodation…. in a dog friendly area that was dirty and unpleasant. The furniture was dated, carpet worn, and gardens overgrown with weeds.

Hotel is in a quiet rural setting with lovely views and lots of outside space. Pool with steam room and sauna was quiet and accessible. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was good with outside seating.

Room very good, but prefer wardrobes and Hangers. Shower step high for older people, needs safety grab handle. Breakfast could include smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Sorry did not take dinner, next time?

We stayed in a courtyard room which was extremely large and could have easily accommodated twin beds or a king size bed rather than a standard double, which we would have been happy to pay more for. We stayed for 2 nights. Housekeeping arrived around 11am on Saturday and I asked them to return later as was getting ready but not sure that was communicated proper so room wasn't freshened up but no big deal. Would be useful to have some take away delivery menu's available for guests that arrive post dinner service. But honestly, these are all minor, it was a fab stay and we will be back.

Staff were great, price extremely reasonable, stunning location and the pool and spa facilities were clean and well maintained. Both my friend and I couldn't get over how comfortable the bed was, best sleep I've had in ages.

We didn’t like that we booked a double bed, but found out that the double bed was two single mattresses pushed together, it was uncomfortable with the gap between the two mattresses. Also a pair of my partners ankle boots went missing from our room which we are not happy about.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The swimming pool, steam room & sauna were spot on, beautiful view looking outside from the swimming pool.

However, my partner developed suspected food poisoning during the night. Throwing up around 2/3am. I informed the reception when I checked out the following day and they were very condescending, strongly insisting that it takes at least 24 hours for food poisoning to kick in, I did say this wasn't true and it can take less than an hour to happen in some cases. I understand things happen and perhaps it was a rarity however it was the way this was addressed by the staff when informed. Unfortunately it was this reason I left a lower score for staff and comfort.

Stayed in this hotel a couple of times now. The pool is great Very close to amenities and little villages. The hotel is dated but it does everything a hotel is ment to do. My go to place to stay, when visiting the cotswolds.

The bed was awful both uncomfortable and small. Extremely noisy extractor fan. Shower was poor. Had to ask for a hairdryer which they had to search out.

Location. Catering was good. Conservatory has lovely views. Quite a relaxed feel around the place. The views from the bedroom The Spa was very nice and the treatment I had was great

Noise level at nighttime. Kept us awake until 3.30. Absolutely ridiculous. We paid for a superior level bedroom but were right over the conservatory where the music came from. The curtains let in light so we were really unhappy at the disruption to our night’s sleep.
