The water pressure in the shower could have been better but this was just a minor issue.

Perfectly located in the city of Brighton. Julie and Melina are such great hosts. The house is super clean and cozy. Breakfast was prepared freshly every morning for us.

The tiniest quibble - and it really is tiny - is that there was no bedside lamps and the reading light was very bright.

The location was excellent - close enough for everything to be walkable but just far enough off the main drag to be blissfully quiet at night.

We would have liked the option of cereal as an alternative to the full breakfast on days when a full breakfast was too much. You could choose an alternative combination of cooked breakfast ingredients and toast however which was good. We were offered cereals but felt it was an imposition as cereal wasn’t routinely on the menu.

Melina & Julie are the best host on the whole earth - they will advise you, will cook your breakfast (& willdo it with lots of love & attention), will chat wirh you & recommend you places & activities :) The room was spotless, warm, comfy & well simply amazing. The guest house itself is very cozy, beautiful & with special vibe. So... do I recommend it to you? - 100% yes!! & will I stay there again? - 1000% yes!! :))

The owners were so friendly and helpful, they helped us with parking in the area as it can be difficult. The room has everything we needed and luckily had a fan as it was a very hot weekend. I would highly recommend it.

The room was perfectly quiet from within the guest house, but because of the extreme temperature outside we needed to sleep with the window open so the noise of the traffic and some people was disturbing at night. This can’t be helped the property is on a fairly busy road. A room at the back would be quieter.

Hosts were fantastic. We received a warm, friendly, helpful welcome. Room spotlessly clean, bright with great attention to detail and good quality linen/towels/products etc. convenient location to walk into Kemptown or the centre if Brighton.

The only thing I would have loved in my room was a small chair to sit on for coffee/tea besides my bed. Not a negative by any means, but would have been even better!

Melina and Julie were lovely from start to finish, and truly make me feel so comfortable. I was solo traveling and it was my first time in the country, and they were so lovely and welcoming!

The room is a bit small yet enough for one person. The location may be a bit far from the center but again it depends on the purpose of your visit. It is a 15 min walking distance from the center

It s a lovely stay with two great hosts. Clean room with just enough utilities provided. Delicious breakfast. I should warn you full english breakfast is quite big. I suggest to take half english breakfast which was very satisfactory for one person

Very good value for money and large for what was described as a single room. Although it's listed as 'shared bathroom', in fact there was a shower and sink in the bedroom, and the toilet wasn't being used by any other guests.
