room was very basic, i wasnt expecting luxury, but i was expecting a bit more. single glazed windows, doors that, while they did shut properly, didnt block any noise or light out. i was only there for one night, it did the job. Kind of like a typical seaside B&B place.

room was clean, spacious and had a nice view. could see the sea and some nice gardens outside the window. very close to the pier and waterfront, very good location. Had a mini fridge and a kettle, towels, shampoo and shower gel, a fan and plenty of plug sockets.

No staff actually working at the hotel, an alarm decided to go off at 2am and took an hour to find the phone number for someone, then another hour n half for someone to come out and needed to be up by 7 so not much sleep happened.

I was single but paid for double bed. Almost all rooms was empty but they allotted 3rd floor room. Every time I had to climb 3 floor which makes me disappointed. They should allot room down side if empty. Also so many people outside hotel setting n shouting n drinks smoke all night and making noise. Bcs it's no staff hotel nobody cares about guests.

The heating was on in the entire building incl my room 24/7 which made a sauna and kind of unbearable.. I thikn even in winter time the heating shouldnt be on non stop and def not in your own room with no option of turning it off..

No staff to help, water was tepid at best although I did call the emergency number to state the water was cold. They got back to me very quickly advising I let the water run a bit. Very very basic equipment. Far to overpriced for what was supplied! I'd even go so far as saying it was a rip off.

Walls very thin, so could hear everything the people next door were up to! Toilet was quite some way from the room, along a corridor and down some stairs.

Contrary to other reviews, room was clean and contactless check-in worked smoothly. Amazing view of the pier and the sea! Good cheap option for a last-minute overnight stay.

The sink drain was not connected, so sink emptied directly onto bathroom floor. As reception is online only I got a response later offering to try and find another room, but it was as I was going to bed as I had an early start, so it was no help. Bare bulb as a lamp. Very hot.

To get to the room we had not only to climb very high, but also to go through a real labyrinth, passing some toilets and showers where people were showering with the open doors. The sink leaked and there was always water on the floor in the bathroom. The mixer in the shower was broken, so we had a choice of super cold or boiling water, no gradations in between. The noise from the street outside is insane, windows block zero sound. The beds were back-killers.

Location is allright, check-in is easy. Nice small park just outside of the hotel.

Constant doors slamming, screaming shouting among residents in early hours (weekend mayhem) toilet doesnt flush well, If you prefer hot water then use shower before 6am, we stayed 3 nights so had time to figure this out.

50 GBP deposit that will take 10-15 days to be refunded. I don't think this accommodation is on a level to require deposits. But if it does, it should be returned immediately after check out; Rooms don't have toilets, only showers.

Little details in the room missed , rubbish bin in the bathroom looking a little rusty and dated , the room comes with tea and coffee making facilities however no where to plug the kettle in near by . Had to plug in down the side of the bed . Property seems to being re-done however because of this pictures on the site seem mid leading

The windows were only single glazed so it was quite cold, the radiators couldn't be turned up either and you could hear the wind rattling the windows. There was only one spare plug socket and the door also rattled whenever anyone opened the doors around us.

Bed was really comfy, bathroom was nice and clean with towels, we had a mini fridge too and a kettle. It was in a good area too, overall pretty good for the money.

There is no reception, and yet you cannot easily get ahold of anyone on the phone. Myself and another lady were outside for easily 45mins when we arrived. They happily contacted us to take our deposit and then went silent as we were outside waiting for a “2nd” check in email. The corridors smelt of smoke, and were dusty and dirty. The room itself was standard, appeared clean. But there was plastic under the bed sheet so very sweaty. The rooms were noisy with people banging around in the early hours, I did not feel safe. Having communal toilets is fine, but soap would be nice…
