Having to climb over back of bed to roll down blind at night. Only tiny piece of hand soap (sensible prevents waste but, no other soap for shower). Only 1 kettle in kitchen, inadequate for several users. Urn for large group avail.

Tastefully decorated with lovely garden flowers. Comfortable bed, ensuite facilities. Tea and coffee provided. Good size fridges/,freezer. Plenty of seating, lighting. Shop interesting. Cafe on site. Helpful staff.

Comrie Croft was very pretty and inviting! We arrived in the evening after check in time but there were fairy lights and lots of beautiful spaces to walk through! The tea room was lit up by a chandelier and looked so tantalising! A lovely lady helped us find our room which was pleasantly furnished. We liked the overall style of the place. Lots of thoughtful details. Plants and bird boxes and beautiful tiles and interesting knooks & crannies. There was a lovely gift shop which sold organic vegetables and fresh bread as well as cards etc.

Check-in a bit awkward as the room number didn't make it through booking.com, so nobody was sure where to put us. Wifi not great, but suspect this is a result of the fairly remote location rather than anything in Comrie Croft's control!

Beautiful setting for an unusual hostel/campsite/everything else. Great, comfy, room with good shower. Really nice kitchen and lounge areas - cosy and beyond what I'd normally expect in a hostel. Really nice beds - both the double (comfy!) and the bunks (which were bigger than usual and had privacy)

the lack of staff onsite. we arrived around 6pm and couldn’t find anyone at reception. we had not received an email explaining our room number, so we didn’t know what to do. the phone number given did not answer. luckily the lady from the coffee shop was still cleaning up so she was able to WhatsApp a group and get us our room number. when making our beds there were 4 pillow cases instead of a mattress sheet, but of course no one to go to. in the kitchen there were no more tea towels - no one to ask for more. all of this is minor, but considering the high cost, I would otherwise would give a ten.

the property and amenities were great. the room was fun.

Comfortable room offering modern facilities. The cafe provided a good and varied menu with the staff being really friendly and happy to have a chat. Their farm shop was well provisioned with many foods for vegans, vegetarians, and those with special dietary needs. Much of the fresh produce was grown at the property or sourced locally. In addition the farm shop catered for camping and cycling requirements. Fabulous location with beautiful vistas. Highly recommended!

Lovely place, with very homely atmosfere, plenty common areas, enormous kitchen, very vell equiped. Room had decent sizes and very comfy beds. Outside was also a space for sitting, coffee bar and bike shop and rentals. I regreted that we stayed for one night only. Definitely going to visit the place for longer next time.
