The cottage was beautiful. It was so clean and had all the facilities we needed. The fire really made it feel cosy. The host even provided fire logs and kindling! We couldn't have asked for a better location. The cottage is high up, so you can see for miles and miles. There were many surrounding walks, cafes, shops, and restaurants that kept us very busy! The centre of the Peak District is about an hours drive, but there are so many walks close by. There are waterfalls and high mountains all around for you to explore. The town of Holmfirth is just lovely, there are plenty of restaurants outside of the town too, which you can reach via taxi easily, and the taxis aren't expensive either which was such a relief! The host was so kind and made us feel so welcome. We will 100% return <3

sounds too good to be true but there honestly wasn’t anything i disliked about the place. will be going @ the start of next year for sure!

honestly not a bad word to say about the place, it was very clean and the interior was really nice, a nice drive way to park with locked gates for peace of mind which was lovely also. the views were beautiful, waking up to those views every morning was really great. there was plenty of space and all the facilities you could ask for and it was very clean & tidy. the hosts were also very polite and easy to get along with :)

Lovely cottage, exceptionally clean - great views, everything spot on Was travelling for partners birthday which I’d mentioned when talking to host who kindly left some fizz and a cake! Communication and information from host was excellent ! Good location for views and walk and easy drive into Holmsfirth and other locations like Leeds Sculpture Park Would have happily stayed for longer !

The only small thing was the blinds in the bedrooms let ALL the light in so no lie ins 🤣

Loved everything.

Beautiful cottage with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Views were amazing. I was there with my little daughter and old parents. It's very safe. Not far from the main road. And Daniella is just a text message a way if needed anything. Will definitely be back.

The location was perfect with fantastic views of local area. Host Danielle is only a text or call away with help for any queries. Knowledgeable booklet in regards to local areas at house etc. Both rooms good size although the twin room could do with a telly 😉

Only things it needed were a large colander and some j-cloths.

The cottage was beautiful in a stunning location. It had everything we could need and was great for toddlers as it had stair gates and children’s plates. It is in a fab location to visit lots of local attractions. Danielle was very helpful and gave lots of information.

the cottage was beautiful, warm, homely, fab views and had everything you needed. wonderful log burner and comfy beds. very close to the town of Holmfirth.

We travelled as a family of 4 and loved everything about the cottage. The owner is very approachable and on hand. The cottage was very clean from top to bottom, and the beds were pretty comfortable. The views of the valley were lovely, and it was so peaceful. We ate out at the Yummy Yorkshire, which was highly recommended and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful weekend, and we will be returning soon.
