I don’t usually do reviews but this place was something special.What a find.From communication and arrival greet to a stunning apartment and location.So beautiful and quiet yet only a 5 minute walk to the vibrant city centre minutes from all the sites you would want to see in York.The Minster and cobbled streets to Betty’s tea room and the shambles.My first visit to York but not the last.The photos of the studio do not do it justice it was lovely and clean and had every amenities you need.A great 3 days.

Very comfortable room, with good facilities and little extras (complimentary chocolates, toiletries, board games, etc...). Good city centre location, only a short walk to many activities.

Tim was attentive from our first booking his apartment and kept in regular contact with us to check if we had any further questions. The property was decorated, furnished and maintained to the highest standards. Its central location provided an ideal base to explore York or, in our case, to catch up with some dear friends. The apartment had everything to satisfy anyone’s needs with plentiful towels, bedding, toiletries, refreshments and many other little delights. The secure undercover parking was a real bonus.

A cafetiere would be a really useful addition, since we brought coffee and ran out of coffee pods on the first day.

The directions text to us were excellent and Tim the owner was outside the apartment block awaiting us. Parking was secure and just next door, the apartment block is secure and in a lovely spot, south facing over the river. Perfect for exploring York, and great for chilling out after.

The bed was a murphy bed - makes perfect sense for a small apartment but being a double only this may be an issue for some.

Our host Tim was a delight and most helpful. The location was fantastic. The apartment was well appointed and made for a fantastic stay. The extra touches provided were really appreciated.

Was absolutely spotless. Beautiful room packed with every appliance you need. The view outside was lovely to wake up to in the morning!

Location, quiet, clean. The owner was very communicative and met us on arrival and went through everything. Right on the river, loved the shower and small touches like Christmas decorations and some fruit pastels! I would recommend this flat to everyone!

There's nothing I would change

The apartment was very cosy with lovely little touches to the decor to make it a home from home. It was in a great location within easy walking distance to the centre. Tim was a lovely welcoming host and gave us some suggestions for places to visit. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area and recommended to friends and family :)

Truthfully there was nothing to not like totally fabulous.

Fabulous location and absolutely amazing inside, attention to detail second to none. The pictures on the website are genuine and the property is immaculate with those extra special touches. We will definitely be back. Host Tim was brilliant too. Xx

Only the weather which was out of everyone's control.

The whole package was excellent. Tim met us when we arrived showed us around the studio flat, had supplied us with tea, coffee, milk, orange juice and even a lemon for a gin and tonic. Flat was very clean and had everything we required and more. Only a very short walking distance into town. Highly recommend.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

The apartment was lovely, decorated and furnished to a high standard. Little touches, of milk, coffee,tea, orange juice and some sweets were a lovely touch, the location was excellent, the car parking was good once parked it was an easy walk into the centre of York with no need to take the car out. It was nice to be met by Tim who showed us around the property and to hand over the keys. All in all we had a very comfortable stay.

Excellent accommodation. Great location, not too far a walk from Shambles and very close to shops/supermarket if required. Every tiny detail was considered in the accommodation and loved the decor.

I loved everything about this place. The location was great- easy walking to everything and very quiet. It was exceptionally clean and everything was impeccable and to a very high standard. Tim was an amazing host and walked us through everything and the car park was secure and on site. The kitchenette and in suite laundry were appreciated.

A little piece of heaven I could have sat in that window seat for hours on end jst listening to the birds and watching the river ,just perfect:) Location ,the beautiful apartment and all the little touches like fresh bread and milk and sweeties:) ,will certainly be returning for some R &R very soon
