    Nothing at all

Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean. We were cycling so the washer and dryer were very welcome. Good heating system and a log burner which we didn't use due to the warm weather. The location is superb being just a short walk from 2 very good restaurants.

Not that it bothered me as this is my second time here but there is a steep stairway down to the kitchen and bathroom so wouldnt suit anyone with mobility issues.

This is a lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable. Its in a great position within easy reach of most of Perthshires sites. There are two hotels within a minutes walk and an award winning chocolatier . There are frequent visits from red squirrels which is a treat and garden birds. It looks over the River Tay in a peaceful setting. The log burner is a bonus although the cottage is cosy without it. Lovely to sit by a fire. The host Mark keeps you well informed before your visit and although I didnt need to contact him Im sure he would be quick at answering any queries. Would highly recommend

Worth noting the loo is downstairs, so not ideal if your legs are tired after a long walk or you have reduced mobility.

Very cosy, wee cottage in a fabulous location on the banks of the Tay. We enjoyed a visit from a couple of red squirrels using the bird feeder in the window sill.

The cottage was lovely and warm plus the wood burner was an added bonus. Took logs with us but plenty supplied. Husband found bed very comfy. Duvet was really warm. Quirky layout but everything you need was supplied. Only 15mn drive to Pitlochry for going to the theatre.

We can't recommend Cobblers Cottage enough! Perfect cottage getaway for couples. Location is spectacular, right on the Tay. Everything is perfect. We were visited by 3 red squirrels. Mark is a great host. Answered all our questions. Book a stay, you won't regret it.

Only suggestion for the host to consider would be the lack of firewood, more would have been appreciated especially at the time of year. We ran out after our first evening. Overall a warm, quiet property which was very clean and tastefully decorated.

Attention to detail. From a welcome book to complimentary tea, coffee and shortbread. Was also decorated for Christmas, our favourite was the wood burner which made the living area so warm and cosy! In the morning we opened the curtains to see bluetits and a red squirrel at the feeder overlooking the River Tay. We needed a quiet break away and really enjoyed our stay.

Hmm the shower...not used to electric showers, hard to get temperature and pressure right ( for me anyway).

Beautiful little cottage right next to the river, super calm and relaxing. Squirrel feeder on the window sill attracting red squirrels.

We loved our stay at Kindrochet. It’s a quirky but comfy cottage right on the banks of the beautiful Tay. You have everything you need to self-cater, a comfy bed plus the added bonus of a washer and dryer. Perfect! We especially loved watching the red squirrels at the feeder.

Everything was great, the oven was a tiny bit tricky to use but other than that it was perfect!

We loved our short stay at the cottage and wished we could have stayed longer! The location was perfect and the surroundings were stunning. The hosts communication was excellent and we were kept up to date with everything. Very comfortable bed too! Thank you :)

Shower pressure a little low but adequate enough.

Beautiful setting, right beside the river. Clean, quiet and peaceful, comfortable bed, parking provided. It was excellent to have a washing machine and dryer provided. Highlight of the day and addictive was watching the red squirrel eat the nuts/seeds out of the feeder at the lounge window. This little cottage is quirky but welcoming and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. There is a convenience store within walking distance.

Lovely little cottage: Scottish country haven
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • One-Bedroom House
    • Stayed 7 nights

Bed might be a bit tight for some people to share. Also, the heating system is different from North America, so needs figuring out. The Scottish nights get cold, even in the summer, so be prepared to either bundle up or figure out how to use the heating system (there's one heater that goes on automatically, but it is on the bottom floor). The cottage must be very cosy when the fireplace is going!

Lovely tiny cottage in the countryside. Corner store nearby, direct view of the river, and lovely walks and cosy places to eat nearby, like the Inn on the Tay which had good food and very welcoming staff. Wonderful to have the whole place to ourselves. Host was very accommodating and informative about the local area and hiking trail. Wifi was excellent and reliable, and there were books to read too, and a TV screen with capacity to play DVDs. The little wooden touches here and there (round mirror downstairs, wooden stairs) make the cottage feel like a ship's cabin.

There was nothing for us to dislike about this cottage. However it is not ideal for people with mobility problems because the kitchen and bathroom are downstairs.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage had everything we needed. It suited us very well. Very cosy and comfortable. Communication with the owner was very good. Would definitely recommend and when we are next in the area, will definitely book it again.
