We enjoyed our stay. Caravan was clean and comfortable. Didn't use any facilities or deal with any staff as we spent our time with friends staying elsewhere but very pleased.

The only downside was being told check out was between 10 & 11 but then being pressured to leave at 10am. Also some private hosts may try and make you pay for swimming etc on site, but it is free so long as you are renting a caravan that is on the coastfields site. Be aware of this!!

The location is great. Coastfields is a great site so close to fantasy island and literally facing the beach. The Chinese on site is very very nice, i highly recommended to try. And the swimming pool is free to use and available at different time slots throughout the day. Also the drinks at the bar are very affordable and it's a nice atmosphere.

Honestly I was so angry because almost an hour that we we’re looking the #66 Paddock we can’t find it until we went to the reception and asked and they said they don’t really know the exact location that staff was useless. I rang the number that I got in my email and they guide us until we found the caravan. The reason why we have difficulty finding the area was the sign almost faded. They need to replaced that one.

We cooked our own foods. It’s good we brought our own big pot to cook. Very nice lounge and kitchen.

Unfortunately I was not impressed by the state of some of the duvets and mattress protectors, we didn't use them as they were very stained. The double bed was very hard and the pull out bed in the lounge still had the plastic cover on it so it was like sleeping in a crisp packet. There were no board games, dvd player or other such items as advised. The fire alarm needed a new battery so was squeaking until we bought a battery and it still carried on so we took it off. The position of the caravan was supposed to overlook a courtyard, it overlooked a dingy alley behind some shops as did the decking. There are no leaflets to advise visitors of what is on site or in the area and there should be. It is a very difficult site to find your way around and although the pool looks lovely, you have to book an hour slot there doesn't appear to be very much to do on the site.

The caravan itself is very spacious and some thought has gone into the decor. There is plenty of room for 4 adults & 4 children, The decking is lovely with plenty of room to sit. The site is quite large but not as noisy as we thought it might be. Also there is plenty of room between the caravans.

It's not fair to call this a criticism but we took our own towels and bedsheets at the warning of the proprietor that none would be provided, we loved our stay and perhaps in the future the owners would consider providing these things. (But that is really pulling at straws, we really enjoyed our stay)

Beautiful caravan in the perfect location, a quiet section of the park away from young families, which as teenage lads we all appreciated. Communication with the owners was spot on and we weren't at all left disappointed, the hiring of a private van is actually better than going through the holiday camp and that van hasn't seen the last of us!

No bedding provided or towels, had to call on the day as the pin given to me through booking.com was wrong and I didn't know the caravan number. Location wasn't great but that's not the fault of the owner.

The caravan smelt of stagnant water

Difficult to find accommodation, unable to operate heating as there were no instructions therefore were cold. Had to contact owner as no email received with code to get into property, therefore didn’t know had to take bedding and towels.
