Only slight disappointment was the lack of a late bar. We came back specially to have a drink after a night out at just after midnight and it was closed. No resident bar.

Would have liked a small fridge in room for keeping bottled water cool. There was actually a small cupboard that looked like it was meant to house a fridge but was empty.

Excellent location, nice view over river & city. Close to main shopping area & lots of restaurants. Everywhere in hotel spotless & all staff very friendly & helpful.

Being able to book breakfast before we arrived

Breakfast was excellent and the hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable beds and an excellent shower all available in a central part of the city.

The hotel is in a great central location in the city, and just a short walk from Central Station and also same with St.Enoch Subway station. Very close to the main shopping streets in Glasgow. Beds in the hotel are really comfy so great to sleep in. Also bar/ restaurant is spotless and done up to a very high standard, as is the rest of the hotel. Modern gym facilities is a bonus.

Hotel bar prices were a bit steep.

Obviously a well oil machine. The staff were great, Knew what they were doing fiendly and helpful too. The food was good and available all day. We needed an early meal as we were going to a show. No problem here. Also at night you can order room meals if you get the munchies later.

Only negatives were the room safe didn't work despite following the instructions to the letter ( this resulted in having to carry an uncomfortable amount of cash around in Glasgow on a Friday night ). The loo roll could also do with a major upgrade for a 4* hotel ( seriously) . Bar closed way too early for residents.

The steps. I realize it is a historical building but the steps were hard with luggage. With that being said, I chose this place because of its historical nature.

An excellent hotel at an excellent location (near stations, shopping, coffee etc.). The property is clean and the room was spacious and neatly kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was the best stay that I had across my trip across my trip to Scotland this time and I had booked them keeping equivalency of all parameters in mind. The price point was fit for purpose and there was absolutely nothing that I would like to pick on, during my stay at this property. I would love to stay at this property again should I visit Glasgow in the future. Highly recommended for everyone else. Ohh, I had a riverside view as well, that was very impressive.

The route through the hotel to the lifts was a little confusing at first but we soon figured it out.

Perfect location, close to the station and shops. We loved the comfortable beds and the space in the room. We were lucky to have a river view room which was extra special.
