The room was noisy, we could hear all the traffic when the window was open. Otherwise the room was too warm. The hotel is a bit overpriced in our view. Although we followed the instructions and hanged up the towels, they were anyhow changed every day. The mattress of the double bed was like a waterbed. If one of us turned over, the wave would roll down to the other and wake him/her up. We would have preferred two duvets instead of one huge one.

It has a perfect location to explore the center of Manchester. It is easily accessible by public transport. The restaurant and the bar have a good quality.

Cleaner came to room after 5pm every night as we were trying to get ready to go out, so had to send her away so therefore room was never cleaned during our stay

SInk in the room was a tad blocked so everytime the tap was on even if the plug hole was open it would fill up. But this certainly didnt take away from the experience.

Unfortunately the toilet didn’t flush and the hairdryer didn’t work. Which we did inform staff of this., before leaving.

Clean,friendly, good food, polite helpful staff, couldn’t ask for more. The beds were really comfy and the pillows were soft and comfy. There was an iron and ironing board, a safe in the room, and a variety of hot and cold drinks along side a coffee machine with pods.

The disabled spaces in their car park were blocked/being used for storing building supplies during refurbishment work. This was cleared by check-in time, however I'd managed to get on street parking beforehand. The staff went out of their way to rectify this, but it's totally unacceptable in this day and age for it to have happened in the first place.

Perfect location for what I wanted from Manchester city centre. Large, comfortable and clean room.

The breakfast buffet was expensive - for that, I don't expect corners to be cut by providing nasty cheap sausages. This is a key thing for business hotels I feel. I will be inclined next time to eat outside the hotel.

Shower could use a non slip mat. On Sunday evening we were kept awake (friend staying in another room) until half 1 by a person shouting constantly in the street. Not the hotel’s fault (hopefully) but maybe a factor in choosing location.

Despite turning the heating right down, our room was very warm, so had to open the window which was straight onto the Main Street - so noisy.

We ate dinner on arrival - the menu had some good options and the staff were very friendly. There was also a great choice at breakfast. Our room was a good size,

The view from our room was not particularly attractive but this was not really an issue.

There was only one chair in the bedroom. Better lighting is needed in bedroom and there was no bedside table on one side of the bed. Breakfast: Porridge was very poor and only luke-warm. Prunes would have been welcome.
