The location of the property was fabulous walking distance to beach and town centre. The car park was directly behind the apartment and a pass was provided.

Perfect apartment in a lovely area of town. Minutes from the beach and local restaurants and bars. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and the owner has thought of everything you could possibly need for a quality break. Some extra touches such as Sky Q TV, Coffee machine and Nest Thermostat puts this up with one of the best holiday lets we have stopped in. The car park could be seen from the window and was free during our out of season stop and a permit provided any other time. Our dog loved it as well and the local park was only a minute away for any quick walks. Thank you.

Host and Stay are a bit of a nightmare with multiple confusing emails.

This apartment is in a great position with just a short walk to the centre and has a fabulous view across to the Abbey. There is nearby parking which is a plus in Whitby and it is very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Great communication from the friendly owner. Highly recommended.

We couldn’t find the hallway light switch when we first arrived and my partner tripped on the stairs and sprained his ankle. It would be better having automatic lights as it’s very dark in the hallway and on the stairs even in the daytime. Wouldn’t stop us returning though - at least we know where the light switch is now!

Very modern and tastefully decorated throughout. Everything was very comfortable with everything we needed including plenty of kitchen equipment. The location was 20-30 min casual walk to the town centre of Whitby so perfect for us. Parking was at back of apartment so could see our car from living room window. Was great having sky/netflix and added bonus was the coffee machine (Tassimo). Had a welcome text from the owners to make sure everything was ok. Info/arrival book was provided which was useful and had an online guide sent before our arrival. Loved our stay here and would definitely book again.

Everything about the apartment was perfect. Location, cleanliness, comfort etc. Highly recommended. Communication from Dave, the host, was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and very close to property (a few yards away) with a permit that was included with the stay. This would definitely be my first choice on next visit to Whitby.

The service of Host and Stay and we find the heating hard to operate

All the little details, the kitchen was fuuly equiped, the TV has sky and Netflix . Better than expected. We will go back any time.

The hidden fees from Host & Stay :(

The apartment was situated in the most perfect place for our needs. My only disappointment was with Host and Stay who did not get us the second parking permit that was requested and when I got to the apartment I called them and they said we hadn't paid for it via an invoice. I agree I did not receive an invoice but I know they took £10, which is what they were charging us for the second permit. They said it was for a breakage deposit. Be careful about the hidden fees, which I hasten to add is NOTHING to do with the apartment owners. They were really fantastic people and couldn't do enough to help you. We will most certainly stay there again :)

Really comfortable warm apartment, well furnished with great kitchen and two bathrooms. Location was ideal, on West Cliff yards from the front, quiet but a couple of minutes walk to cafes, shops, bars etc. Good communication and guidance from the owners.

Unfortunately we didn’t appreciate the strong smell from the laundry liquids used on the bedding. We are very keen to recycle our waste created, yet there was no facility in the kitchen to be able to do this. We took ours home! When on holiday we don’t really expect to bring our recyclables home with us.

The apartment is a great size and well furnished. The place was immaculate and included all sky channels. Close to the beach and nearby is a children's splash pool and skate park which were always busy.

Would have liked scratch card to park on the road as well as the option of the car park.

Comfortably furnished, with quality appliances. Spacious, light & airy. Very clean with good towels & bed linen. Excellent communication from the host. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over the sea, from the living room window. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The only thing I would say was the double bunk bed in smaller room could be a bit of a problem for people who have some mobility issues as tight and low.

Spacious rooms with lovely decor. Brought own food as accommodation only but lovely touch with a pint of milk, coffee and a packet of biscuits left for us on arrival. Kitchen well equipped. Location was excellent to venue that we were going to over the weekend. The communication from the host and stay and the owner was exceptional.
