Appreciated the reception’s handling of my request for a bathroom with bath and shower - they promptly moved me to a different room. They were always very helpful. Rooms and bathrooms spacious and bed large.

There was no grab handle for the shower and no emergency cord. Definitely a health and safety issue.

Nothing to report. There was nothing to dislike. No grumbles at all.

Firstly, and most importantly - the staff. They really are friendly, helpful and do all they can to make sure that you have a pleasant The hotel is not new - and uses this to its advantage. The hotel is comfortable and looks in great condition. The breakfast buffet is well stocked - and breakfast is good value.

Left an item of clothing in the corner wardrobe. Phoned later that day. Staff very friendly, said the right things, called back, but the thing had vamoosed up into thin air. Our mistake, fully accept that, but a lot of other hostelries would have sorted it. Only a limited number of people would have been in that room after we checked out. Left with the, 'well it's London, isn't it, what do you expect' feeling.

There were no slippers in the bathroom standing on the tiles while taking the shower did not give a good feeling.

Room had a cracked sink and chipped bath, not what is expected from a hotel in this price bracket but overall room was comfortable and a good experience.

I never know when the bar closes this time it closed at 11.45 which was annoying when we wanted another drink before bed and we were in the bar and they didn’t notify us.

Fourth time staying in the last year. It’s so convenient for us as we drive up from Wales and hate staying in central London so staying in Chiswick and then commuting in is ideal. The pubs, restaurants and cafes nearby are great and would advise going out to fund the independent businesses nearby as food and drink is much better quality. This time we stayed on the ground floor - don’t think the rooms are as nice as the others, they’re definitely smaller. However we only ever need it for a bed rather than a hotel experience and for that - it’s comfortable, clean and the staff are good.

As in my previous stay last year, many things have not been improved unfortunately. This is a four star hotel and yet it feels like a 3 star or less in some aspects. The rooms need better cleaning, there were stains here & there on the carpet and bed base. The lighting in the bathroom is awful it really needs more lighting!! The bathtub has a fabric curtain!! Which was not very clean. The mugs and spoons didn’t look very clean. TV had a layer of dust over it & curtains were dusty too. Windows were dirty from inside (oil marks and smudges). On the day of checkout, the coffee bar in the lobby had nobody there to serve me.

I stay here frequently, It’s convenient and within a walking distance to Gunnersbury tube station for the District & Overground trains. The room AC is controllable and excellent, beds have King Koil which is comfortable. They now have kiosks for checking in & out if you want to do it yourself. Upper floors are quieter so there is not much road noise (ambulance sirens etc).
