Everything. The host was welcoming, friendly & helpful. The apartment was cosy, well equipped, peaceful, clean, everything to make your stay ideal. The final set of stairs to the apartment were a bit steep, so anyone with mobility issues may be an issue, but on the flip side, it made our stay more 'quirky'

Loved the location as it was an easy 5 minute walk into town (up & down the hill... but that’s Whitby !). Excellent bed, good shower and everything we needed in the kitchen. John & Jools were great hosts

Nothing really, it was nice. The hoover didn’t work very well but it may have just needed a new filter. Other than that, no issues~

The property was open, clean and the kitchen was so very handy will all we needed for cooking. The bed was soooooo cosy. The staff were so nice and friendly, they were so accommodating and helpful ~

The apartment had everything you could need for a few days' stay. It was clean, comfortable, stylish, and only a short walk into the town.

Was missing just a few things, such as Shampoo and better towels in the shower room. Also toilet seat is loose and shower head rail is also loose. Just things that need attention.

There were no negatives regarding the property itself. Only regret was not staying for longer.

Well-presented property, situated within walking distance of the beach and local amenities. The hosts, John and Jools, were very friendly and accommodating on arrival. They give you a parking permit for an additional £5 cash and this can be used on many of the streets of Whitby that require permit parking. The property has many modern features, including free WiFi and Sky TV. The kitchen features an oven, hob, microwave, and toaster along with facilities for making tea and coffee. The apartment is clean and well-maintained. Would definitely stay here again!

1. TV system desperately needs upgrade whilst flat screen and good picture access to 5 basic channels is not enough especially on a wet weekend in the middle of March when Rugby World Cup and Football league cup is being shown on BBC 1 & ITV 1 not to mention Comic Relief all Friday evening. 2. Impossible to park near the property even with a parking pass. My wife has bad arthritis and finds it difficult to walk even short distances not being able to park outside was very difficult. We thought we would be able to come and go using the car but once you moved your car you were unable to re- park this was not suitable for my wife’s mobility issues.

We were in a ground floor apartment and we really liked that. Easy to get out and back to the apartment. Not too far.. I love Chiltern. Sadly the owners weren't there this time and I was looking forward to seeing them. They're lovely people.The ground floor apartment is very comfortable, warm and well equipped ❤️❤️
