There was nothing that we did not like. Future improvements could be to put king beds in the family rooms where space.

We liked everything

This b&b was a lovely find and very close to the beach and a 5 minute drive to the zoo. We felt welcomed and like nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a family room which was a great sized room, with the children's beds in their own little alcove. Lovely little touches around the place such as the sweetie bear outside our room, which my son was delighted to see. On the landing in the communal area there are books, board games, and dvds for you to use during your stay. My children enjoyed watching toy story in bed on the first night. I'd recommend breakfast at the b&b instead of venturing elsewhere They offer a good range of hot food plus cereals, fruits and toast etc and also cater for individual food preferences. In our case a gluten intolerance in which different bread was provided. We had a great weekend here with very friendly hosts and would definitely recommend to others :)

spotless room with everything you need , lots of soft towels lovely bedding very well stocked tray with tea coffee etc.

My only note is everywhere we travelled all beds are double beds (as opposed to queen size).

Room felt very luxurious and decorated to a very high standard. It was a room for 4 which was a large bed and then in a room annexed off the side was a bunk bed for the kids. We couldn’t of asked for more and Martin and Jo were very nice to speak to, very friendly

Having to go home

The breakfasts were yummy The location was good for the beach and train station and local restaurants. The house was also quiet even with other guests.

Cherwood House is in a great location, close to the sea front and the centre of Paignton. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay and the perfect way to start the day. Jo and Martin made us feel very welcome.
