    Housekeeping was not good.

The room and bathroom was large and George and others were excellent in their customer service.

Some plant based options for breakfast would be lovely.

Lack of electrical sockets in the room - only each side of the bed. no shelves in the bathroom to put your toiletries, although plenty of room to have some as such a big bathroom. Lastly price was over £20 cheaper if I had booked direct. Very expensive for just one night without any breakfast.

Loved the location and paying only £2.20 to park right opposite - given from the hotel and also the very comfy bed.

Ok, but definitely not 5 Star as advertised. Shower head half blocked, gap in shower door, which did not close. Products in bathroom not high quality and room pretty spartan. Expensive breakfast that was very disappointing. Self-service, not even coffee served. Congealed eggs, catering sausages, fruit salad that was mainly chopped apple and fake plastic flowers everywhere. Bar did not even have a single malt whisky.

Great location, lovely large room, very comfortable bed, great old lift, sea views, lovely sash windows for fresh air.

Some pieces of furniture are a little worn out (chairs and cupboard for example). Our bin in the bathroom was not emptied on arrival and the room was not very clean in some places (rubbish under the bed and spiderwebs in the bathroom ceiling).

Very nice victorian style hotel with spectacular view on the pier and the sea. Well situated for visits and restaurants. The staff was very kind and helpful for the parking and directions. We had a very nice time and enjoyed our stay there. We got an upgraded room and that was a very good surprise on arrival.

Shower was a bit weak and difficult to adjust. Masseuse cancelled at very short notice so had to cancel pre-booked treatments.

Fantastic Breakfast in a nice setting and excellent Value for Money. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking directly outside the hotel. Room was clean and had a Fantastic view. Very quiet in the room despite the busy road outside. Loved the quirky lift.

Room could do with a fridge. Would have like to have the option to NOT have buffet breakfast as it cost £20 and only wanted a small thing from the menu.

The pillows need replacing in both of the rooms we had booked. Our bathroom lacked places to hang hand towel’s, could be fixed simply with a rail or hook on the side of the sink cabinet.

Family trip, the hotel is in a fabulous location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, the hotel is well furnished and has that comfortable feel.

Would have liked a small fridge in the room.

Great location; very welcoming staff, nice personal attention. I'd requested twin beds and the room was made up ready. This doesn't always happen, several times in the recent past, in other hotels, we've had to wait for the room to be re-configured after check-in; comfortable bed and pillows in a lovely room. Thanks to the Victorians for building high ceilings and big windows, the room felt spacious, light and airy. A very enjoyable stay, would definitely book again.

When we arrived, the tea, coffee and milk in the room had not been topped up. Also, the room was only serviced on the first day. The bed was not made, bathroom was not cleaned and again the tea, coffee, etc was not topped up. It would also have been nice to have been able to have a meal in the restaurant in the evening, if we hadn’t wanted to go out.

We thought the rooms were very good with plenty of storage, comfortable bed and a lovely walk-in shower. Would have preferred a service breakfast as we had on the first morning, rather than the help yourself buffet breakfast we had on the following days. However, the food we had was very good.

Nothing. Maybe it´s a bit of an issue to have a bar for a late drink, but no atmosphere in it, once the barkeeper is also the receptionist for the time being untill closing the bar. But that is an issue having travelled on my own probably.

"Strictly come dancing" and "Seven sisters" brought me to Eastbourne. I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was amazing with possibility to serve myself tea and coffee. The bathroom was great. The possibility for a late drink at the bar downstairs nd the spot direclty at the pier was great. I had a bit of a sleeping issue both nights with either wind or air-condition, which I am not sure about, but the bed was incredible. I really enjoyed the friendliness of staff.

It wasn’t possible to separate the sleeping arrangements in the room to allow adults their own space to relax whilst children were sleeping. Restaurant was closed for dinner but room service was available. It would have been great to have a swimming pool.

The walls in the room were not soundproof. We could hear the people on one side talking very clearly. On the other side they were playing loud music until very late. Thankfully they both only stayed one night so the following night it was quiet.

We were upgraded to a nice room at the top of the hotel. It was nicely decorated with sea views.
