One of the most beautiful properties I’ve stayed in. The feeling of zen envelops you as soon as you enter! The garden is teeming with flowers and birds of different kinds including a peahen who has made the back garden it’s home. The whole place is decorated extremely thoughtfully with every detail catered for.

Sadly the potholes on the access road have got worse since our last stay... it's a shared access so not sole responsibility of property owner...advise caution.

Very comfortable, owners have thought of everything. Love the enclosed garden and the peahen dropping by to visit.

    Nothing.

The warmth and thoughtfulness of the hosts was apparent from the moment we stepped through the door. An unusual and quirky cabin, extremely warm and comfortable (we visited in October), very well equipped and situated in beautiful surroundings but also a short drive away from amenities. I could not ask for more!

Location was perfect, lovely and peaceful. The cabin was cosy and comfortable, everything we needed for a short break was provided, we really appreciated the hosts leaving milk/biscuits etc. There were extra blankets and a log burner in case it got colder. The cabin is beautifully decorated, beds very very comfortable.

What a find! An individual property, very welcoming indeed. So many little touches, the owners are exceptionally thoughtful, games, music, dvds, even dog treats and milk, biscuits etc on arrival 😊 We particularly appreciated the sofa bed in the conservatory ( my daughter joined us for a couple of nights for my mothers' birthday, and that was perfect for her) . The garden is gorgeous, we spent quite a time watching the birds, butterflies, insects, squirrel and peahen enjoying it with us, so tranquil ☺️ We would not hesitate to return next time we're in the area, if Bag End is available, ( we can see why its availability would be limited,it must be very popular)

There really wasn’t anything to moan about. It’s well presented and super cosy. The cabin is stocked with books and games and there’s a barbecue and bikes to borrow. My only observation was that it just needs a bit of TLC, but not enough to not want to rebook!

The cabin was set in fabulous gardens and well away from any roads. In fact, to reach it, you have to drive down very narrow lanes which are barely wide enough for single cars - although there are passing places. There’s no “local” shops, but there’s a big TESCO nearby, 15 minutes away. The accommodation was really comfy and was well presented. The kitchen comes well stocked with pots and pans etc if you plan on cooking for yourself. The shower was lovely and warm, which was more than welcome after being out all day. We loved staying there and our three year old enjoyed the chicken and geese who live next door.

Nothing, it was all marvellous. We would love to come back and visit again. Only thing we didn't like was having to leave.

Everything, we loved the quirky crafty touches. The birds and wildlife were so relaxing and the garden beautiful. The added touch of providing milk was gratefully received after a 6 hour journey to get there. 😊

The only thing I didn't love about the cabin was the smell. Everything smelled old and a bit musty.

The cabin is very cosy and well equipped. There is definitely a Lord of the Rings theme going on. It's very well taken care of. The garden is lovely.

The location is great in terms of things you can reach with a short drive. We didn't spend much time actually in the property as we made ourselves busy but it was very cosy and all the heating options made sure we were never cold
