Very clean with good off road parking. Fast internet access. Well equipped and great location to explore Lincolnshire Wolds and Coast. Helpful hosts. Lovely short walk to local pub.

Karen, the host is a great communicator and helped with suggestions for local food, pubs etc. Her husband is a painter and decorator and it shows. Tastefully decorated and furnished, everything you need to hand.

Didn't quite master turning down the thermostat despite instructions. Probably should have checked with host during stay.

Furnishings and interior were tasteful and of excellent standard. Warm and cosy, which was much needed in January. Provision of small food items, tea, coffee was very much appreciated. 10 minutes to an excellent pub.

We both found the bed a bit awkward but that may be age-related (us, not the bed!) I am quite short and have some arthritis. I found it rather high. We are used to a wider bed but that criticism relates to our personal requirements and does not reflect a lack of provision on the part of the host. It is a full size double, very new, with a good quality mattress and a selection of pillows and cushions - absolutely perfect for the majority of guests, I expect.

The comfort and convenience were key but the attractiveness and beautiful taste of the host made the experience extra enjoyable. Fixtures and fittings were immaculate. Karen's instructions, advice, helpful hints were all really important and meant there was no need to disturb her. Her thoughtfulness shines through, from the delicious plum-bread and other supplies provided, to the little notecards in key places, information book and write-on whiteboard with the latest news (seal pups at Donna Nook!)

Legbourne is a lovely village and well located for travelling in the area. The cottage was so peaceful, comfortable and we had a wonderful relaxing stay. It is ideal for a couple and there was a lovely welcome pack of bread, crisps and preserves which were very much appreciated. Everything was spotlessly clean and had been so well thought out. There was a selection of books and board games as well as two televisions so no chance of getting bored. The village shop is nearby and there is a pleasant walk which takes you to a restaurant if you wish to dine out. If you want to visit Lincoln, you can travel by bus or drive to the Park & Ride situated at Waitrose which is much easier than parking in Lincoln itself. All in all, it is a wonderful place to stay and cannot recommend it highly enough!

We have stayed in many accommodations in many different places over the years, but this one just exceeded all expectations. Beautifully laid out in a lovely quiet area. Absolutely everything you need and a little bit more. We got introduced to plum loaf which was lovely. We are already planning our next trip.

Very friendly and helpful host. Welcome pack including plum cake was a perfect start after a long drive. Beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Perfectly located with cycle routes on quiet roads all around to access the Lincolnshire Wolds or coast. Highly enjoyable and highly recommended.

Nothing! Genuinely can not complain

The sweetest little home away from home. Small small perfect for a couple. When we arrived there was bread, butter and jams for breakfast in the morning and fully stocked coffee bar which was such a lovely touch. Parking right outside, quiet neighbourhood, genuinely looking for a reason to go back now! The whole place was new and clean and so well looked after. Fan was out under the bed for us as it was a hot day too. Such a great stay!
