Unfortunately the courtyard wasn’t open due to them being short staffed . The rooms are pretty noisy with other guests coming and going .

The decor was very modern and the bar /restaurant downstairs was a lovely place for a beer on arrival.

If you have mobility issues be aware the stairs to the rooms might be a problem.

The building has such character and charm. It’s location was perfect and only a short walk from Queen Street Stn. The room was stylish and incredibly clean.

Our room was on the 3rd floor with no lift. There was a smell that appeared to come from the downstairs restaurant which meant we needed to have the windows open. It was a very small room and not great value for money.

The location was excellent. The room although small was well fitted out and modern.

Unfortunately the phone with the reservation info was broken so we did not get the check in information. I did expect there to be staff manning a desk at the location but it is more like an airbnb with self check in. We had to ask the staff at the downstairs restaurant for assistance getting inside because no one answered the hotel number when we called for help. All that being said, everything turned out fine, it was just disappointing to have no point of contact for assistance.

The location was great for walking to the destinations we had planned. There is no elevator so plan on hauling any luggage you bring up a spiral staircase. The room was carefully appointed with all space utilized well. The bed was luxuriously large and comfortable. Beautiful city views from our top floor room.

Parking was a bit of a hassle but not major - had to move the car from a RingGo parking before 8 am - not really an issue as was easy to find other parking

Great building and location. Parking was a bit of a nightmare but hey that is a city centre for you

We would have liked to have been told about Glasgow's low emissions zone so that we could have avoided a fixed penalty notice for driving a non electric car in the city. Also, the £1 per hour parking charge advertised, does not exist. It is free to park on the adjacent street from 6pm to 8am but then it is £3 per hour for a maximum of 3 hours. There is cheaper parking in a multi storey on Duke Street apparently, but the link we were sent didn't work on our phones.

Located in a pleasant part of the city with a 15 minute walk to the Merchant restaurants. We were fortunate to be upgraded to room 1 which had a lovely large and comfortable bed, dual aspect windows and big walk in shower. The tea and coffee facilities provided an excellent choice with biscuits. We enjoyed a large bowl of fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, orange juice and toast for breakfast.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding night. The building is beautiful and inside is gorgeous. The room looked beautiful and smelt amazing. We felt very comfortable. It’s in a great location and we woke up to bagpipes playing from the park across the street.

My now husband dropped his bag in the morning with no problems but dad tried to drop my suitcase off in the afternoon so I had it for the next day but was unable to due to the restaurant being open. Wasn’t a huge deal but I felt bad he had gone up and was unable to.

We stayed at Cathedral House on the evening of our wedding and it was perfect! Our room was beautiful and we only wish we could’ve stayed longer to make use of the beautiful bath and other facilities. Breakfast was lovely and staff were so helpful in the run up to our stay and the morning after.

Perfect! It cannot get any better. We had the most wonderful room (no. 5) - we loved it so much we would have liked to stay longer in Glasgow. The breakfast was fabulous, the staff was wonderful and helpful. It was clean and quiet. The bed was fantastic and the toileteries - just amazing! We can totally recommend this place!

No private parking for our motorbike but there is a very safe parking at the rear of the building where you can park your bike safely. This is a self check inn B&B so you have to check your mails to get the pin pass to access the building. The breakfast is very healthy with granola and fruit but poor choice. No scottisch breakfast. A bit to expensive price/ quality.

A beautyfull B&B with views over the cathedral and necropolis. Beautyfull room and bathroom. Walking distance to city center.

The restaurant staff were friendly enough but got the impression they were tired of being asked questions.. I felt we were told off a couple of times. It's a shame as it put us off wanting to eat / drink there and we went elsewhere

The host's attentiveness made me feel welcome and well cared for throughout my stay. Their sincere politeness and desire to help with any questions or needs were genuinely admirable. The room itself was a haven of comfort and cleanliness. Immaculately kept, it showcased a level of cleanliness that is rare to find. The interior design of the room was tastefully done, reflecting a perfect blend of modern aesthetics and traditional charm. The thoughtful decoration choices created a cosy ambience that made me feel right at home. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the delicious breakfast. The variety of fresh fruits, the delectable Greek yoghurt, and the mouthwatering sourdough bread made for a perfect start to the day. The hotel's attention to using high-quality, fresh ingredients was evident in every bite. It was a breakfast experience that I looked forward to each morning of my stay.

We didn’t see anywhere we could leave our bags for the day, if there was an option we would have liked to know before arriving, this however did not discourage us as there were plenty of bag drops around the city! We would definitely stay again
