I'd have liked a better view from the room, but hey, it's Blackpool and I was only in there a short time.

Great location right on the sea front with a nice terrace outside the bar overlooking the sea. Perfect for a few drinks and decent food. It was hot and sunny mind you - can't speak for the usual weather. Special mention for all the staff - very helpful and friendly.

Lack of certain foods in the breakfast menu eg, black pudding, fried bread, fried egg.

Room was adequate, view was terrible, staff were friendly, food wasn't the greatest but edible. Other guests were obvious drug users, parking spaces were good.

Entrance: There are powered doors that don’t work which makes accessibility for wheel chair or mobility scooters extremely difficult. Several times we had to assist entry and exit for two ladies who were using mobility scooters as it was extremely difficult (impossible) for them to open or close the doors. Bathroom: This was our second visit to the establishment and we were placed in same room as last year and still the bathroom hasn’t been updated. Shower temperature is VICIOUS! The room is a ‘family room’ so check that temperature is set correctly prior to use as our eldest son went in the shower and nearly burnt himself in the shower. Whilst showering shower curtain doesn’t retain the water from getting onto the floor which in turn floods the bathroom floor and as its tiled makes it extremely dangerous. There is an extraction fan that doesn’t work so room get steamed up as there is no ventilation. It was that hot we had to prop room door open and open window to allow air into the room.

Location: Hotel is located just passed the North Pier and ideal for tram system as it’s adjacent to tram stop. Car parking is available although gets busy. You’ll need to enter vehicle details into the system next to reception desk. Bar & Breakfast area: Bar is homely and reasonably priced. No gambling or arcade machines which we thought was ideal. Breakfast area is clean and spacious and all freshly prepared.

Bathroom was a little tired with some attention needed to the sink area. Thought the food and drink was a little on the expensive side. Don't think you should be charged for the car park as a resident.

Perfect location for what we needed. One night stay. Took the dog. Staff were excellent in all areas. Great room with sea view, although you do pay for it.
