The full English breakfast was excellent. The king size room was spacious and well appointed. The hotel has a great bar and large dining area. Plenty free parking outside the hotel. Ideal location in the centre of Aviemore.

Found hangers in wardrobe difficult but a light in the wardrobe would help. Would have preferred a slightly larger TV. We opted to only have room serviced midweek which was absolutely fine. The only problem we had was washing tea cups in bathroom in the interim. It would have been useful to have somewhere to put dirty cups and pick up clean ones. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times, but as it is very popular we had to wait (this is made clear though). It would be nice to have a couple of ‘specials’ each evening in addition to the regular menu, especially as we stayed for a week. We dined at other local restaurants though that were very good and no distance at all.

Breakfast was perfect. All breakfast staff were exceptional, making us feel very welcome and remembering details from previous days. Nothing was too much trouble, even providing us with a couple of bacon rolls on our day of departure as we didn’t have time for breakfast. All staff were welcoming and helpful. Comfy, clean bed. Plenty of hot water for shower. Brilliant location.

The lack of a lift is a pain, as we had a lot of luggage. However, the hotel did provide speedy help with dragging the luggage up the stairs.

Hotel is dog friendly, and I respect that in the restaurant side, people may not like the thought of a dog where food was being served. We were told we could sit in lobby with dog and have a drink however when we came back from another hotel after getting a meal there with our dog, there was no seats available nor were there any dogs, just people sitting I presume waiting for tables for food, no drinks were on any tables. Also no dogs allowed in bar area, this just doesn’t make business sense. As we spent our money elsewhere. Whilst the hotel was nice and staff lovely I wouldn’t book again for this reason.

This was a great place to stay in the heart of Aviemore which allowed easy access to all the shops and attractions by walking. Its beautifully decorated in Scottish style with a nice Pub and Restaurant on site. The room we had was small but functioned perfectly for our needs. We ate at the restaurant twice including the free breakfast which was very good with lots of choices and great service! Would not hesitate to stay here again as it felt like traditional Scotland!

The room faces out onto the back of the building and being directly above the restaurant, you will be exposed to a lot of noise later at night and not from the bar. Our room only had two working sockets with others just not working at all. The bathroom was a decent size but in desperate need of fixing as there were sizeable dents in the bath with plastic chipped away. We also found the bathroom bin had not been emptied and the shower curtain looked like it needed replacing. Bar staff were friendly but I don't know if it had just been a bad day when we checked in as the reception staff looked as if they'd rather be anywhere else though on checking out the staff we're far friendlier Would recommend the room for it's size and location as ideal for overnight but may be worth shelling out more if you intend to stay longer.

The location is ideal right next to the high street. The hotel is perfect to access shops and the train station. There's also a bus stop right across the road with buses to the cairngorm mountains and Inverness. There's also some lovely places to have something to eat nearby such as ashers bakery. Room was the bar snug. It was easy to access next to the stairs and a decent size. Bed is comfortable and good quality furniture in the room also.

Can’t say anything as all good. The only thing I’d like to mention is maybe they supply bath mats for inside shower as my husband nearly had a bad fall but managed to stop himself by hitting the side of bath with his foot. We were in room 125.

It was central and all the staff were lovely, nothing was a problem. Breakfasts were amazing and good choices.

The tv was tiny but luckily it’s not what we went to do! One member in our party found the pillows very uncomfortable.

The decor was cosy and nice, very clean hotel, breakfast was really nice. One staff on the morning was really helpful and gave us a few tips on where to go, I didn’t get her name but she had short grey hair.
