Everything was great.

Nikki was very welcoming and friendly and took time to chat to our young daughter. She gave her some soft toys to play with during the stay which was very kind. The house is beautifully decorated, we had a spacious bedroom (triple room). Beds very comfortable, everything you need provided in the room- toiletries, refreshments, hair dryer etc. Breakfast is amazing, very tasty and lots of it! Spotlessly clean everywhere.

Nikki was very helpful, friendly, welcoming and digby aswell .Her home is lovely, Breakfast was great , plenty of it it presented nice and cooked perfectly. We are 2 sisters with husbands in 60s thanks for having us.

Burleigh House was just lovely. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and large, so we didn't need to eat again until the evening. Nicki was a very friendly and welcoming host.

We had the most beautiful stay at Nicky’s place. It had everything we needed and looked even better than the photos. Very comfortable bed! The whole house is beautifully decorated with Nicky’s sewing skills and interior designing. The breakfast was also lovely, with great veggie alternatives.

We didn’t attempt the steep drive as icy weather was forecast so we parked on the road. No problem at all.

Nothing - it was perfect!

We had a fantastic stay at Burleigh House. The room was lovely - clean, comfortable and individual. Our host was helpful and friendly with lots of local knowledge. The breakfast was excellent - perfectly presented and well cooked with a fantastic choice. The location was perfect for us, we were able to walk into town in the evening and it was close to local attractions in beautiful countryside. We would highly recommend staying at Burleigh House and hope to visit again soon.

What a gorgeous, welcoming B&B. I would highly recommend this to anyone, the rooms were well thought out with detailed touches. Breakfast was a banquet and such a treat, with lots of options available.

Warm welcome on arrival and continued warm hosting throughout our stay. The room was fantastic, spacious and beautifully decorated, very calming. Nicki's talent in soft furnishings is visible throughout and I especially loved the covers for the round windows - very clever, once I had figured out what they were. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room very clean. Breakfast was delicious - we would not hesitate to book again if in the area. Lovely to meet Digby!!

The house drive was elevated from the road but with careful precision this was little problem, if one applied a cautious ascent and descent.

The warm welcome from Nikki was just the antidote for recovering from a long car journey. The bedrooms on separate stays were spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and an all-essential comfortable mattress ensured a great night of sleep. Breakfast choice was exceptional and to enjoy fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden, was a real treat. A return stay will be guaranteed and I highly recommend Burleigh House.

Everything - the attention to detail, the breakfast. The rooms were spotless and we were made to feel very welcome. A beautiful house and wonderful hosts. Would definitely recommend staying here and there's a fabulous pub just around the corner.

Nikki, David and Digby were extremely friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The beautifully furnished bedroom was immaculate, comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was exceptional and kept us going all day! We enjoyed our scrambled eggs made with eggs from the hens in the garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will visit again.
