The shower pressure was a bit weak

Lovely B&B, kept to the highest standard. Very clean throughout. Comfy beds. The host was friendly, accommodating and responsive. Breakfast was also very good, with a good selection of options and timings.

Beautiful property and well looked after. The four poster room was gorgeous and so comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. We wish we stayed more than one night.

Its my 2nd stay at the Brooklands BB in the past month alone and can say i wouldn't stay anywhere else if staying in the area. Excellent amenities and very comfortable stay. I normally stay in corporate hotels with work and would love a Brooklands in every city i visit. 😊 Thanks Sue first class 👍

Nothing - all good - just room a little too warm - but we're used to 18 degrees C at home and no heating in bedroom and 4 tog duvet at home only even in winter! Personal choice - we know others like it much warmer than us - we could have "unbagged" the thick duvet but we were too tired to be bothered! I'm sure our host would have provided thinner duvet if we'd asked as she was so helpful - our fault for not asking!

Wonderful host - so helpful. Great place, so comfortable, clean, so many extra touches. Comfy bed, brilliant shower. Would stay again if need to travel to area. Thank you - great place.

Having to park in a car park just around the corner .

Lovely guest house and worthy of its five start rating , host couldn't do enough , beautiful room to accommodate all of our needs . Centrally located to town , shops and restaurants . Good selection for breakfast and plenty of features around the hotel . Excellent décor , carpets of quality , would highly recommend .

This has to be one of the loveliest places I’ve ever stayed the guesthouse is beautiful, very clean you can tell how much the property is loved. Sue is the perfect host and makes you feel very welcome , giving advice on the best places to eat and where to visit. There is everything you could possibly want in your room from tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits , bottles of water in the mini fridge and the most comfortable bed ever. All toiletries in the bathroom, bathrobes and hairdryer. The guesthouse is central for pubs, restaurants and shops, there was also no issues with parking you could park right outside Breakfast was amazing so much choice and cooked to perfection Best of all was Pepe and Bear ( little dogs ) that greeted you with wagging tails to put a smile on your face at the start of every day I truly wish you all the luck on your new adventure Sue and I can’t wait to visit again Liz and Gordon

A really lovely and comfortable room in a beautiful period property in a very convenient part of Penrith. Sue, our host, was attentive, efficient and wonderful company at every stage, and prepared a varied and exceptional breakfast for us before our reluctant departure. The guesthouse was quite simply the best we have ever stayed in in all respects. Our every requirement was met, and the bedroom and all communal spaces were fitted with tasteful and appropriate decorations, carpets and pictures etc throughout. Effective wifi was provided and we would most definately stay with Sue again, who made our visit friendly, comfortable and fun in every way possible.

Our Host Sue provided exceptional service, from start to finish. Catering for our dietary requirements greatly, breakfast was delicious our room was always clean and the bed was super comfy and our room warm, sue is lovely and really does go above and beyond. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Pep, bear and Sue.
