Friendly hosts, great atmosphere. They gave us free bacon eggs and milk for breakfast which was very kind. Very clean, everything you need in the Shepards hut. We’ve stayed in a few shepards huts before but this was by far our favourite.

Not complaints, but suggestions and statements. The bed is a double/full. It was rather wet out, making the area rather muddy; we were concerned about tracking mud inside. A few large bags of gravel should help in fixing this.

Host was generous, making the stay wonderful. She provided homemade pastries and bread, homemade jams, farm fresh eggs, local meats from a boutique butcher, and plenty of firewood for the fireplace. When putting together food for us she even inquired to food allergies. It was clean, bright, and downright adorable; my wife and I plan to recommend this place to everyone interested in staying in Cornwall.

There was nothing not to like

The host was warm and welcoming, messages to say it was ready before our check-in time, shown us how to use the electrics and log fire .. she provided little treats for us chocolate, cookies, fresh bread and breakfast bits.. the pictures on site is beautiful but it's so much more beautiful in real life.. I put pictures on my Facebook and friends have already asked so have recommended and will continue to .. love to go back in summer. .. went for our anniversary and was perfect to sit in front of log burner with movies and treats.

I loved everything about it ,the location,it was peaceful,relaxing ,we had everything we wanted in hut ,Sandra was lovely very helpful and if we needed anything just shout ,clean ,just felt like home away from home ,my girlfriend birthday so I ask Sandra to put banner and wine in hut and she did ,I really can't fault this place at all

The bed was a little too small for us but totally understand that you couldn't have a bigger one in a shepherd's hut.

The accommodation was fantastic,spotlessly clean and beautiful. The welcome pack with fresh bread,scones, homemade bread and the butchers sausages we're amazing

Every detail had been attended to, including leaving us a loaf of home made bread and bacon sausages and eggs in the fridge, all not included in the rate. We loved the tiny woodburning stove and using Alexa for the first time.

Everything you needed for your stay was provided. The shepherds hut is of high quality and comfortable. Quiet location lovely to hear Owls hooting at night. Breakfast ingredients provided was a lovely and unexpected surprise. Bed is very comfortable.

It was absolutely lovely. From the moment we arrived!! Brook definitely exceeded our expectations. All the little extras for example box of chocolates, biscuits, bread, milk, bacon and more. Could not believe how well it was equipped. The hosts have definitely put a lot of thought into the detail of Brook. Sitting outside listening to the birds in the evening and morning.

That we were only staying for one night and not longer.

I am so glad I found this place, the hut was absolutely gorgeous, everything inside was spotless and the little extras were so thoughtful, breakfast was in the fridge with local proper sausages and milk supplied, everything you needed was supplied, tea bags, fresh coffee, rapeseed and olive oil, sauces and washing up liquid. Sandra was a lovely host and helped us with the local knowledge about what time to go and where to park in Looe and Polperro. The projector in the bedroom that you could watch Netflix was amazing, I need to buy one myself now. even had Alexa to turn the lights on and off It was so lovely that we had planned to go out but ending up staying in all afternoon and evening to enjoy the accommodation. It was actually very quiet even though it it close to a main road, hearing the local owl hooting in the evening was so lovely. We will definitely be going back and will also recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful. Everything was perfect from the surroundings to the shepherds hut. The size of the hut is perfect. The owner Sandra was so lovely and welcoming. The welcome package was a lovely touch. We loved it so much, we have booked again!

everything was beautiful. well laid out and thoughtful planning has gone into this. the hosts were exceptionally nice and the extras in arrival were so thoughtful. There was local sausage, eggs and bacon in the fridge. Local butter and a loaf of bread with homemade marmalade, Cornish shortbread and a box of chocolates. In a time where people want top money for minimal effort this was a refreshing change. Highly recommend

there was nothing I can fault. everything was fantastic! fresh bread, Fresh coffee, super clean interior and the log fire was built and ready for me to light. super polite and friendly host. when ever I’m with 30 miles of this Cabin it’s going to be my new home stay! 10/10!

Honestly nothing, everything was perfect

The added extras were such a lovely surprise. The warm welcome and showing us how to use the fire and the added touch of Alexa was amazing. Especially when we got back later in the dark. Definitely we will be back

The Brook was set in a lovely, quiet and peaceful location. Inside was perfect. Lots of lovely little added touches. We especially loved the log burner and the projector television in the bedroom. The host was really welcoming when we arrived. The accommodation had everything you would need for a break away. It was cosy and cute. We loved it.

Nothing, it was perfect!

Beautiful setting in a tranquil woodland. The sheppards hut has been done to a high standard finish, with all the amenities you might need. The included cream teas, coffee and local breakfast supplies were a real surprise and a very lovely touch. Despite being very close to the A38 we couldn't hear the road during our stay. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cosy shepherd's hut A++
