Host attention to detail - snacks, milk, chocolate, etc.. Lovely location. Lovely view. Very clean and homely. As musicians, it was great to have a guitar to play! Peaceful. Comfortable bed. Warm and cosy. Great communication with the owner.

An ideal location to attend a night out at The Picturedrome and enjoy drinks and meals out over the Easter weekend. The cottage was very cosy, with great views and facilities. We had a really enjoyable stay.

Parking is not for the faint hearted, but there are plenty of carparks in Holmfirth a stones throw away.

We booked last minute for New Year's Day and what a find. Perfectly located, great size and all the facilities you need for an overnight stay. It's tastefully decorated and comfortable and cosy, unfortunately we didn't have great weather but if we did the outside area is a beautiful view of Holmfirth and beyond.

It wasn't a problem for us but some people may have found the access, a lot of steep steps a challenge. Might be a good idea to make it clear in your blurb.

The property is accessed down some old stone steps which are of varying height and depth, and we were advised to take care before we arrived. However, when we arrived it was dark and the first one or two steps were not lit so it was hard to see the way. Security lights came on when you started down. Luckily I had a pocket torch so I could see my way. The keysafe dials were also not well lit.

This is a lovely little cottage, very well equiped and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean, in fact eveything looks new including lovely thick carpets. Mandy was very helpful and instructions on how to get in, where to park etc. were very clear. The location is ideal for visiting Holmfirth being only a few minutes (steep!) walk from the centre.

The first night light coming down the steps in the dark wasn't working but I'm sure that can be fixed easily enough and we did have a torch on our mobile phone to assist.

Very comfortable and clean with everything you might need for a stay. The extras such as milk on arrival and toiletries in case you've forgotten were a lovely touch. Parking was available on the lane and the town centre was a few minutes walk down.

Maybe more warmth with regard to the heating, as the weather was changing.
