There was nothing I didn't like. It's very picky to say this, the only suggestion I have is that there was a little noise from the fridge and some of the details were not quite as high spec/appealing as others.

The staff were brilliant, as was the food and atmosphere in the pub. We loved the Irish themes and decor as visit Ireland often to see close family. The location was fantastic with fantastic bars and cafes close by and we enjoyed a walk over the road at the nature park. There was a wide array of snacks and drinks in the room which was a lovely touch. The decor was lovely too.

Only drawback is the limited breakfast facilities, too many over sweet options but excellent fridge facilities with milk, yogurts, juice etc and a bowl of fruit. Some people may find it noisy till late but that is to be expected staying above a pub.

We have stayed many times at the Bowling Green, finding it comfortable and convenient for our needs. Great access to Beech Road with lots of eating options, shops and pubs and also to the nature reserve for some quiet relaxation.

We booked as we were going to the 02 Apollo and thought it looked close, which it wasn't it was a good taxi ride. However this is not a fault of the hotel.

Beautiful place to stay, with lovely rooms and a nice beer garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free car parking for hotel residents. No cooked breakfast, but loved the breakfast facilities just outside the room and the good choice of foods and drinks.

Room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Plenty of fruit, yogurts, cereals and other goodies available. Small fridge and kettle in the room as well as more supplies just on the landing. Really enjoyed the nature reserve across the road. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Fantastic from start to finish, would highly recommend the Bowling Green. Friendly helpful staff,lovely rooms with super comfy king size beds. Good menu & nice bar/ restaurant downstairs. Lots of thoughtful touches and great customer service made this a stay that stands out well above the normal. The location was great too with a big selection of restaurants, cafes and bars within easy walking distance. Looking forward to a return visit!

Smell from the shower drain which when the bathroom door was opened went into the bedroom. Even though I knew only a help yourself cold breakfast was available it would have been nice to have had a cooked breakfast option.

Reception in the pub (where we ate) was very quick and organised - we had external access so did not worry about closing time Room and bed very spacious and well equipped. Breakfast bar in corridor had everything and fridge in room helped

Nothing really. It was coming up to St Patrick's Day and the pub was watching The Cheltenham races, so it wasn't quiet on arrival, but you could hardly hear it in the room. And I like a bit of 'life', anyway. Chorlton seems a nice safe place with plenty of food outlets. Almost a villagey or 'garden town' atmosphere. It was a nice experience. You have to climb some outdoor stairs to get to the bedrooms, but that wasn't a problem and it was easy access to the rooms.

Breakfast is a serve yourself all day thing. Not cooked but perfectly adequate; it's outside the room all day. Tea/coffee/loads of other choices. Fresh fruit. Cereals. Fresh milk and yoghurt etc. I arrived without having eaten much during the journey, so a banana and a yoghurt and a couple of good quality biscuits bridged the gap to the meal we had booked. Fresh milk too. If you want cooked you're out of luck but I didn't mind at all.

No feedback. Everything worked out great and I had what I needed for a short stay.

Check in was super easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was modern, clean & spacious and the bathroom was great - new appliances, hot water and good water pressure. Bonus that it's above an awesome pub!

Check out. Dont recall being advised how to check out, so was wondering around to hand in my key and request Invoice (with Company address on). I did get in as contractors had opened a door for a power supply. All was sorted in the end, but a small point to ensure all people are aware and can request invoices.
