Would benefit from more privacy as our bedroom windows looked out onto the decking area of the drinks garden.

Had a lovely room with really nice decor. Comfortable spacious bed, warm shower, coffee/tea facilities. Loved the accommodation. Friendly staff. Sorted out some chocolates and a birthday banner for my boyfriend upon arrival. Will be back! Thank you 😊

Our room was beautifully decorated, and the pub was lovely. The inn was in a quiet location, with ample parking space opposite. Dinner was okay; breakfast was excellent. They really do close up at 10pm though.

Having a service charge included on my bill - the service only consisted of bringing my dinner to the table - which is a necessity as I cant collect it myself.

The bathroom and the shower cubicle were both on the small side. The shower in particular would have been difficult to use if either of us had been larger.

Warm welcome and easy check in on line. Room was big enough and clean; the bed comfortable. Easy to book a table for evening meal. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice. It was also great to be able to get a flask of fresh milk for coffees from the bar. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Lovely location Free parking in paved car park across the road.

Understandable for a Sunday evening, but food choice was limited as lots had run out ( sign of a good pub I guess!). I didn’t feel the food offer was good value for money although breakfast included was excellent.

As a lone traveller for work, it was great to get an upgrade. I have not come across this chain before and was very impressed. Lovely pub setting and as a woman on my own I was made to feel welcome and at ease. Lovely comfortable bed and breakfast. Enjoyed the cafetière coffee in the room too. There’s a lot here I would would come back to…an amazing view from the top of the village!

A real tucked away gem! Booked to stay here while travelling down to Devon, and it’s in a lovely little village so close to the M5, and yet so peaceful and tranquil. It’s a gorgeous historic building (three cottages combined to make The Bowl!) and the room was beautiful, the bed so so comfortable, and the staff absolutely lovely - fantastic service for dinner and for breakfast the next morning!

Accessible room on ground, intended for disable use so mirrors in bedroom and bathroom set too low for use without kneeling down but space to fit larger mirrors so useable by everyone. 3rd visit in 6 months and bedroom door handle still not fixed securely although issue raised on 2nd visit 2 months ago.

Nice country pub on outskirts of Bristol. Good food, friendly staff.
