We loved everything from the moment we arrived. The owner are lovely and have created something extra special. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The food is also out of t his world. We will definitely be going back.

The highlight of our NC 500 trip, great location and food. The hotel is lovely and we were greeted by Andi who was lovely and the perfect host. Parking is safe if you’re worried about your wheels. Could have stayed here longer and enjoyed more in the area.

Location was so tranquil and pretty. Plenty of parking, amazing views. Room a good size, clean and comfortable. Good choice of dinner and breakfast.

The welcome. The staff were very enthusiastic about what they offer. The traditional-style decor. I figure it was a hunting lodge in the past, and it retains that feel with wood burning stoves and sumptuous furniture.

United KingdomHardly a complaint but the larger bed was a £20 supplement and it was a king size offered by most other places we stay at without the supplement - 9 locations in 9 nights!
Great location, it felt like the start of the most exciting part of the NC500. Helpful staff, nice owner. Separate bar area and relaxing area - the Fox Den which was a good place to retire to with a drink in the evening.

United KingdomStayed as part of our NC500 tour. Nice hotel. Good reception. All members of staff friendly towards us and our dog. Nice dining room set aside for guests with dogs and a pleasant residents' lounge. Quiet area but not too far from the main town of Tongue and quite near a wonderful beach. Room comfortable. Decent shower. Would be the choice to stay again if in the area.

Was warmly greeted by co-owner Andi who showed me around the homely lodge. The staff were brilliant especially Andi. The lodge and rooms were warm and clean. Evening meal and breakfast was fantastic. I’ll certainly book again here when I do NC500 again.
