Located right on the water's edge in Lochinver, Bonnie Haven is the most comfortable place we have stayed in in Scotland. It is a light, bright house, purpose built to house guests and is so clean and fresh that it feels brand new. Kirsteen our lovely host lives nearby. The bed was super comfortable, we had the best nights sleep of our whole holiday here. The breakfast area/communal lounge area overlooks the water. Kirsteen, our host was really helpful, suggesting a fabulous walk along the nearby river as well as other areas to explore. It's an easy walk into the village for dining etc. The breakfast was fabulous, delicious fruit (I've never seen such huge blueberries), yoghurts, cereals (especially Lizzies organic granola), croissants, toast etc. Fresh flowers in the living room and lovely touches like maps and books of information about the area to borrow. We will definitely be back.

Our host was warm, welcoming and provided us with beautiful accommodation and a most comfortable bed. It was a refreshing change to have a different style of breakfast in Scotland, we enjoyed Bonnie Haven very much, and we wished we had booked a longer stay.

Kirsteen is a wonderful host. Such a warm welcome to her beautiful property in a perfect location. Spectacular views. The bedroom was gorgeous and ensuite bathroom just perfect. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious.

Beautifully situated on Loch Inver. Gorgeous views and a pleasant walk to restaurants. Attention to detail was amazing with the host providing tea and biscuits when we arrived. Breakfast was continental with a wide range of fruit, cereal, yoghurts and pastries.

The property's owner could not have been more helpful. This started before we arrived with information of the best was to travel to Lochinver to see the best sights, which restaurants to visit, etc. We were greeted like we were old friends and she was delightful Our room was upstairs with a mezzanine and the views from the property are spectacular over the Loch and to the village. The walk to the village takes about 10 minutes and is also a delight

Although the heat at this time of the year is rare it was very warm in the upstairs bedroom. A fan might have helped to cool things down.
