It got quite warm in the cottage and the windows didn’t open too easily.

The location was great for accessing beautiful walks. The welcome basket was amazing! And the cottage was well stocked with tea, coffee, toiletries and lots more!!

Nice building but needs money spending on it. Hot water system needing switching on each day.

    Lovely secluded location

The heating was ineffective. The storage heaters did not heat the property. Hard to dry walking gear in a cold house

It was cold and dirty. The shower was ringed with mould, the surfaces were dusty, cobwebs abounded, there was no instruction booklet to tell us about the quirky heating, the carpets were frayed, cutlery was stored in Amazon packaging in the cupboards, the freezer and utilities were in a back room that had no heating at all.

It was a quiet village with a shop nearby. Location was good.

The house needs more maintaining. The sofas was worn to the point I was preferred to sitting on the floor. It needs more cleaning especially the kitchen The cooker needs a fun because when you cook everything gets Foggy and sticky. Needs mop and broom.

Lovely traditional house. Excellent location. Very nice village with rivers excellent view.

Where to start, there is no allocated parking space but we did manage to park in the small church carpark. We book these holidays so expect a home from home experience. The lounge walls were damaged, the sofas had no spring left in them and had to be covered by throws. Carpet was worn. The kitchen had everything you needed, unless you wanted to use the toaster or oven trays (not recommended). Apparently it sleeps 6, but only 4 chairs in the kitchen and one looks like a mouse had eaten it. The landing window was cracked. The family bedroom had a socket gaffer taped to the wall. The wall paper was peeling off as well as test pots of paint by the window. The mattress on the bottom bunk bed had a hole in it. Main bedroom had plenty of cobwebs and peeling paper. The bathroom had cracked floor tiles and not clean. You definitely wouldn't want to use the toilet brush. Not sure what the 2 screws in the bathroom door were for?? All carpets were worn and cobwebs every where. All doors, door frames and fire surround had seen better days. This house is not well maintained and in my opinion the worse house we have stayed in.

The house was located in a small village. Scenic countryside. The local shop and pub where a few steps away.
