WiFi but that was beyond the bnb control. An effort was made to provide a secondary WiFi access which is also to be commended.

The hostess was very hospitable and is clearly passionate about maintaining standards.

Our contact was Cat, she could not have been more helpful and friendly. She met us at the property, was the main contact and she cooked the daily breakfast to order. It was a perfect place to stay if you are walking around Portland. The bus stop ( to and from Weymouth) is nearby and the SW costal path easily accessible. There is a carpark nearby but we didn’t need it.

It seemed to be located in a nice location. There is a Fish and Chips take away across the street that was really tasty!

Less mobile people would find the stairs a challenge, and not a lot to do in walking distance

The host Cat was amazing and very helpful, I can understand why the reviews are so good as nothing was too much trouble. The room was stunning as the views of the sea & coastline were impressive. Loved the downstairs balcony.

While the terrace looks funky it's still very much a Victorian sort of B&B house on the inside with narrow carpeted hallways etc. The picture also makes it look so much closer to the ocean that it actually is..!

Exceptional customer service from Cat. The room was very clean, with a nice bathroom. The property features a cool roof terrace. Excellent value.

Absolutely nothing I loved everything about our stay.

Breakfast was amazing Cat manages all by herself cooking amazing breakfasts and sorting out anything else you would like. Cat even put an ice block under my milk I had brought in as I love my teas and coffees in the room, such a lovely thing to do without being asked.

A really clean and nice place to stay with modern decoration in an old building on a quiet street with a few shops. Everything provided and the host was very kind enough to leave me breakfast to help myself when I had to depart very early.

Parking options nearby can be a little hit and miss.

Cat went out of her way to make sure I had breakfast available event though I was leaving early every morning.

Good location with free car park nearby. Great for walking the SW coast path or bus trips into Weymouth. Cat was a delightful host/ cook and went out of her way to help. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was superb…much more than expected. Thank you Cat!

Major downside for me was no iron. Luckily I had a friend nearby so I could use theirs. Would have been nice to know if and where to find wifi. However, i may have missed it.

Breakfast was better than expected. I thought it was continental, but there were cooked options so a bonus! I got lucky with the parking nearby, however not sure parking is very easy in the area. The Co-op and chippy nearby was handy!

Would highly recommend this property! I stayed here on my own last week and found the stay very comfortable. Room spotless, bed comfortable, shower very powerful, breakfast in the morning was delicious and cat was very friendly and perfect amount of host. Location is great too!

Car park nearby was very handy but a bit hit-and-miss on spaces. Could be tricky at a busier time of year. Room was up two flights - first set of stairs is quite narrow due to the stairlift, so a bit tricky to manage with luggage. Wifi was a little bit ropey at times. Room was a bit chilly, and Cat wasn't able to get the heating to come on.

Cat was really kind, welcoming and friendly - before and during the trip. Room had everything you need. Plenty of storage space. Bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. Location was great, view excellent. Enjoyed breakfast - great egg and bacon sandwich cooked fresh for me, and eggs benedict for my partner.

Inventory (TV) slightly outdated but fitting the BnB Charme

Very homely classic BnB with super welcoming and professional staff. Breakfast with an amazing view and great selection. Also staff was happy to adapted to a slightly earlier start.
