Only complaint is that our room had a leaning down part from the roof, and I bumped my head on it, very hard, in the night.

Stylish rooms and convenient location, only 5 minute walk to the bus station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had the vegetarian breakfast which was huge.

Rooms are all up a flight of stairs and there is no lift. The stairwell is reasonably wide but it could be an issue for some.

Convenient for transport, well appointed rooms. Acceptably quiet.

The rooms felt very cut off without a lobby and a desk for services but it didn’t affect the comfort or needs of our stay.

Everything was adequate and good. Bed was very comfortable and given the street location it was fairly quiet. Building was old and squeaky but that was not unexpected.

Even though the family room was on a higher floor, it was still very noisy from the road :/

Good location, paying parking nearby with Tesla chargers, Spacious family room with 2 separate bedrooms, Big welcome tray with chocolates / tea / coffee..

Rooms were a little small, but they had everything we needed.

The restaurant was great. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The staff was super pleasant!

When the restaurant closes, they close the front door and it is difficult to open it. We tried and the key seemed like it was not working, somebody from across the street helped us and told us the door is old and we needed to push and try to open it with the key. After many tries we were finally able to open. It was very frustrating since it was late and it was cold.

There is a restaurant on the first floor so it was easy to go down for breakfast. The food was very good and the staff was very kind.

A couple of the floorboards on the second floor were a bit squeaky and the noise travelled down to the first floor.

Excellent location just a few short minutes walk from the train station and centre of Inverness. The staff were so friendly. Breakfast was also delicious, catering for a fussy coeliac, vegetarian like myself.

The only small suggestions we’d make are to have a little fridge in the room so you can have fresh milk for the drinks instead of the little plastic uht pots, and it got very hot overnight, though it’s hard to please everyone with heat levels.

We were very impressed with the size and standard of the room at Blackfriars. Everything was of very high quality and we loved our stay there. The location is extremely convenient for public transport and Inverness centre, overall it was great value, very comfortable and we’d love to stay again.

There is no parking and we were asked to park our car at a nearby parking facility, ending up paying £8 extra per day. What is more the rooms are not well insulated from noise and we could hear every person moving around our room: in the corridor, upstairs and the cars on the street. The room doors could definitely get better insulation.

Very comfortable room and bed, we had a nice view from our window and everything felt very clean. We loved the bed and design touches! The property was very centrally located and we found it very easy to explore Inverness during our 2-day trip. Overall it was very good value for money!

The typical noise from cranky floors when walking in UK buildings, if you're a light sleeper you should bring earplugs (but I guess you know this by now).

    Very clean and very comfy!

The hotel sits above a restaurant. It is very charming and quaint. The staff was excellent and friendly. The room was a great room for the price. Beds were comfortable. No problems with noise from downstairs for from the road. Plenty of room for a family of 4. The restaurant was delicious.

Stairs weren’t fun with cases but the charm of an Inn is a trade off worth it.

the location was terrific, the rooms are newly renovated and we were lucky to get one with the large soaking tub. This is a boutique hotel situated above a friendly and lively pub and restaurant and breakfast was included daily.
