I asked for a room to facilitate for my elderly mother the hotel put us into a room on the other side of the hotel at the top floor which had no lifts either … this was an issue as I had to make 4 trips with my luggage (no assistance given) The spa treatment was booked for 25 mins which the staff took me into the room late and only provided a 15 minute massage which I was glad even though I said light pressure I feel like I was a punchbag The staff at front desk asked us to be seated upon checkin and wait .. 2 guests walked in shortly after and were attended to straight away Food options for vegetarians were limited on the menu we had to order in from out instead

The property has a good range of spa facilities The restaurant staff and manager were very polite and helpful The staff in the breakfast area were also very attentive and helpful Afternoon tea was amazing and also packed our leftover cakes for us to take

The food could do with a bit of improvement, although we only had what was on offer for room service.

Loved the grounds and sitting out on the garden sofas surrounded by beautiful flowers. The access to the performance centre with the swimming lake for open water swimming and golf was fantastic. Special thanks to James on reception who was welcoming and very helpful.

The restaurant's menu (for evening meal) does not meet the standards set by the rest of the hotel. Although we would have liked to dine in, the choice on offer was poor and mainly consisted of chips. Bar did not offer a good range of non alcoholic beers. The walk from the room to the pool / spa areas involved going outside to a separate complex which was not ideal for us the walkway was covered but it was cold outside. Room could do with a fridge and there was no safe.

Breakfast choice was excellent although fried eggs were hard. Room was nice clean and comfortable. Gym and pool facilities were excellent (although we didn't use them) All staff were very helpful and polite.

The breakfast room felt very small and busy, with so many people milling around it was awkward with plates and cups of tea in your hands. I think the layout was a bit awkward. There was fresh jugs of lemon water for spa guests in a special room but not for paying hotel guests that were also spa users. There was no one around in the spa to ask for things.

The location is lovely. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The spa facilities are great. The staff were friendly and helpful

The grounds were beautiful but there is no where for guests to go for a walk on the grounds.

One this occasion, my room had towel rail hanging off wall,, which looked a bit unsafe. Bar menu was a little restr8cted on choice for food.

This was our second visit and disappointed with the restaurant menu and was the same as the bar . Was looking forward to the gnocchi but disappointed as wasn’t on the menu .,, please bring it back .. The waitress told us the menus were being reviewed

If I'm being picky, the carpet in the hallway on the ground floor had a lot of wear and stains, time for a refresh. The rest of the facilities were very good.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even leading us a personal phone charger for the night. The spa facilities were excellent and made for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Didn't feel rushed to leave the hotel.

There was also a wedding on and we were right next to the room it was just so noisy . There were only a few disabled spaces and so we had to park further away.

It was a good location and also the staff were so friendly and helpful.

The bed was a little soft and lumpy. Breakfast was nice but we’ve had better.

The spa, pool and gym were fantastic, excellent size, modern equipment and great place to spend a few hours on a wet weekend. The staff were all exceptional, friendly and considerate, particularly our waitress in the Grays Restaurant, Manuela, who went above and beyond.

The TV in the room was very small - no sky/satellite just basic free view.

Comfortable bed, lovely surroundings, gardens, spa and golf course (didn’t use) but seemed popular. The food was delicious at dinner and breakfast, they catered for my gluten free dietary needs, with no fuss.

Very limited choice of food on menu for the evening meal, didn't seem to change on a daily basis. Only ate once in the hotel. May suit others better if they like burgers etc. Car park was busy at times and sometimes we had to park further away in the car park than we would have liked but a space was always available.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool lovely. Breakfast very good. Location good for the places we wanted to visit. Hotel very clean. Very peaceful location, slept well without disturbances. Would use the hotel again if in the area.
