United KingdomThe sitting rooms are used during the day for craft groups and meetings. The rooms are not hired by the groups they are only asked to buy a coffee/drink.. I was told by a crochet group leader, I may wish to vacate the sitting room as her group were expected. I found this very rude as I was a paying guest. I would suggest that the use of sitting rooms for meetings and crafts are made clear when booking a room. I was attending a funeral and would have appreciated a quiet sitting room to relax in. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in where the guest sitting rooms are used in this way.
The breakfast was excellent. I have allergies and these were catered for very well. The staff at breakfast were warm and friendly.

United KingdomWith the check-out time being 11am I didn't like the cleaner trying to enter my room at 9.45am to clean the room especially as I had just got out of the shower. Please wait till past check out time before trying to clean rooms unless you know that they have already checked out.

United KingdomThe one way system to get to the hotel .its a pity there's no evening meals available but that's not their fault as they can't get a chef since covid .
Room comfy ,alittle hard to find at first due to one way system, but after that we soon found our bearings .staff very helpful and accomadating. Cooked breakfast lovely only one complaint the burnt sausage.

Location excellent only short walk into town, plenty of shops, pubs etc. Hotel had parking, clean friendly atmosphere.

This is our fourth trip to this hotel. It is comfortable, easy going and convenient to the centre of Beverly. Despite the fire alarms going off during our stay which was dealt with in a professional manner. We will be back for sure.

United KingdomThere was a feeling of understaffedness. I had to ring 3 times to get someone to appear at reception. The barman was cashing up as I arrived at 9.30 for a drink. On the other hand my comfort was not compromised.
The room, though at the top of the hotel, was comfortable and well furnished. The staff I encountered (very few) were all very pleasant and efficient. The location is excellent.

United KingdomI was exceptionally irritated to try to check out at 9am and find no-one on reception. A waitress came and said no-one was there, checked my booking and said I was good to go. Next day I received an email to say as my bill was unpaid they would use the credit card I used to make the booking. I had no problem with that but the bill was unpaid because there was no staff on reception at 9am. Are guests expected to wait until someone is available?
