Maybe carpark too small especially my car being under a tree and full off bird dirt

The staff were 1st class and really friendly . Especially the person serving the breakfast . The swimming pool was amazing and great to have access to it .

Don't park under the trees!

We have stayed here before & will come again. Great location just hop on the bus across the road to city centre. Staff are always welcoming & helpful. See you in the Autumn! All the best Chris & Bev xx

Having to pay extra to park in hotel car park if had known before would not have booked, payed top dollar for room did not expect extra for parking.

There was mould in the bathroom and on the ceiling and there was cobwebs above the headboard in the bed room

I liked how friendly and welcoming the staff was. The breakfast was really great! Great location and we had access to free coffee/tea The swimming pool was great to use after a having a day out in the heat!

Appeared a little tired but to be fair the hotel is obviously undergoing a major renovation at the moment. Can’t comment on the food as we ate out in York, which was always the intention.

Excellent location close walking distance to city centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a room at the rear, was very quiet. Clean and efficiently maintained with a large car park.

The shower is very tiny

The staff are exceptionally helpful and the location was magnificent. Walking distance to town and opposite a bus stop so easy to get anywhere. The hotel has a pool and sauna.

Couldn't fault. Everything was ideal. Location. Breakfast. Rooms. Swimming pool lovely. Def stay again. Small but ideal. Stayed in large hotel for 2 days but this was much friendlier and no issues

You could slightly hear the pipes of the room next door when they were running water but wasn't noticeable and I could have shut the bathroom door to block the noise. The car park is down a small hill next to the building. There is a space at the front for a car but it constantly had a car parked in it. Would be good if this was a drop-off space only so that you could drop off your bags or someone who struggles with walking at the entrance.

Super comfy bed and a decent size. The room was spacious and had a decent bathroom with a bath. Staff were polite and helpful, quick check in and showed me to my room. They even phoned me a few hours after I checked out to let me know housekeeping had found my tablet in the room and they were safely storing it for me. No outside noise and couldn't hear cars leaving despite having my window next to the car park entry and exit. I left too early to experience the pool or breakfast so cannot comment there.

My only criticism was the really dusty bedside lamp shade as I have problems with allergies.Otherwise very clean and comfortable.

It's a 0.5 mile walk to get to grocrey shops or places to eat.

The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Having the pool and steam room was great for the evenings. It was good value for money. There's a bus stop just outside that goes to the city centre.

Warm, clean, comfortable venue. Very friendly helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Easy walking distance into York. Also good local bus service. Very near a wonderful Italian restaurant.
