The outside light on the fire escape (lighting the bedroom) going on and off in the night, maybe blackout curtains would resolve this.

The size of the apartment, well presented, clean, tidy, warm and secure. The apartment was quiet and comfortable. Location was excellent for city centre, park and walk and also for excursions to the beach (Tynemouth and Whitley Bay) only about 10 -15 miles away . Car parking is off road and outside the property. Works really well . Plenty of Places to eat to suit budgets and food requirements .

Slightly lacking in facilities, such as lighting/lit mirrors for make-up and toilet rolls were not sufficient.

There was no shower gel, shampoo, or soap.provided in the bathroom, just antibacterial hand wash. There were only 3 very small saucepans provided and only one lid. There was no frying pan, which meant we couldn't make a cooked breakfast. No teatowel provided, although there was washing up liquid to use.

The communication from the owner was excellent. The check-in was easy. Off-street parking is plentiful. The apartment was warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is plenty of hot water, an excellent shower, and lots of towels provided. We enjoyed Netflix and the large screen. TV. The remote control needs replacing as it didn't work very well.. Crockery and cutlery were adequate, but I would have liked a sharp knife.

Only 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for 8 people. Small fridge freezer, limited cutlery and cups.

See what I did like. - slightly impersonal - someone banging on the front door of the building very aggressively about 7:30pm for about 30mins until someone across the way threatened to call the police. Definitely wouldn’t have tried to get out of the building during this time. - poor kitchens and poorly equipped. - didn’t like the deposit but but knew about this before our arrival from messages from the host (but not when booking). - mattresses had plastic covers on and generally uncomfortable to sleep but largely because we bed share with our toddler who was on either side of the gap (which was super uncomfortable with hard plastic beading/edging) of the two single mattresses rather than in the middle of a double mattress. - only one pillow each. Luckily the apartment was equipped for the sofa bed to be set up too so we had these to use.

Check in was fine, we arrived at 4pm when we said we would. Lots of conditions linked to checking in etc receptionist thought we had booked two rooms but in fact had only booked one, she awkwardly had to call someone else to check despite the fact she had access to our booking on her phone. She also had a winge about ‘them’ to me quite openly. Not exactly a warm welcome more a very functional check in and handover of keys/deposit. Shower rooms were clean and tidy along with building in general.

These apartments are 1st class! Clean, comfortable and good value for money. There are plenty of towels, the bathroom is large and the shower is great with plenty of hot water. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including bin bags, washing up equipment and tea towels. I highly recommend these apartments and if I'm working in the area again, I won't hesitate to book here.

couldn’t really fit for long showers as if the shower was too strong and long it started to flood the bathroom, had to mop up a lot of water with spare towels. however wasn’t too bad we managed

The apartment was a little far out from Newcastle centre. It was about a 25 min walk or a short bus trip. The kitchen could also do with a few more items in it. The chopping knife is flimsy and I'd say really needs replacing. There was also no frying pan. Anyone visiting who's planning on making a home cooked meal probably needs to pack their own equipment, however to make basic oven food, everything is available.

The property is beautiful. Very clean and modern, very comfortable. A really lovely place to stay. Comfortable sofa with TV, comfortable bed, kitchen and dining table and a nice bathroom with a very good shower.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like. Every time that I walked into the apartment, I was always impressed at how comfortable and at home that I felt.

The apartment was clean, had absolutely everything that I needed and more. There was a bag of ice cubes in the freezer when I arrived which was underrated and a really nice touch. The apartment was very cozy and a great space for travelling for business. The TV and internet were top speed, and I could cast YouTube, Netflix etc from my phone which was very convenient. The bedroom was very comfortable and had ironing facilities which was very handy. The kitchen was very compact, and again had absolutely everything that I could've needed, from cutlery, cooking materials, to salt and pepper. Checking out was very convenient and easy, as all I had to do was place the keys inside the express check out box and I was on my way in the morning. The gentleman at check in was polite and helpful with providing the relevant information that I needed to know. Bentinck Apartments is by far my favourite hotel that I've stayed at so far while working away from home.
